The apartment was well suited for us with 2 bedrooms for three people. The host, Moreno, was amazing! He was so helpful and patient (we locked ourselves out of the apartment). He was part of the reason that we loved Venice so much.

A great location not as busy and crowded as near st marks area but only a 10 minute walk to centre. You could buy a coffee near the apartment for 2 euros compared to 6 euros in the centre. There are convenient store nearby
There are stairs to get to the apartment but Gino helped to take the luggage up we hired a porter to take the cases to train station so he also took luggage down stairs

The host was expecting us when we arrived, we find it very nice of him. The house is perfectly located (with a grocery store almost next door) and very well equipped. It isn't very big, but it had the right size for us (although some of the furniture seems excessive and takes up some space).
Some places seemed that haven't been dusted in ages. There is almost no sound insulation to the outside, so we hear everything that happens in the street. But then, it's an ancient house in an historical city, so that is to be expected.
