Un gioiellino! Da non perdere!

Appartamento molto spazioso, pulito, curato e dotato di tutto il necessario! Vista sul mare meravigliosa e posizione strategica nel cuore del borgo. Raggiungibile solo a piedi e a due passi dalle meravigliose grotte di Byron, alla basilica di San Lorenzo e la chiesa di San Pietro. Da non perdere una breve passeggiata al castello che regala un panorama mozzafiato! La proprietaria inoltre è molto disponbile per qualsiasi esigenza. Consigliato!

Wonderful stay in beautiful Portovenere.

Great location in the middle of the narrow streets of Portovenere. Magical view out of the window, well equipped kitchen, just a street over from all the shops, bars, restaurants and cafes but nice and quiet. Short walk around the bay to a lovely beach but you could also just jump in off the rocks in the street below.

It was dreamy,but the bed situation could have been clearer. The apartment was very tidy and a view I will not forget.

A stunning view while sitting in the dining/living room in this home—Just gorgeous! A perfect spot to access the beach.

It was not 3 bedrooms as described and the photos didn’t make it clear. There is one true bedroom with a door that closes. Then, there is a loft space with two twin beds, but not a full ceiling height and no door so best for young kids. The final bedroom was the sofa bed in the dining/living room— that was not ideal. The explanation was not clear enough about the bed situations.

Good location with a great view.

The view and the location. Contact with the “host” was speedily answered and directions to the property were clear and easy to follow. However of the four properties we stayed at on our trip this was the only one where no-one met us to run through how things worked and deal with our identification.

This was advertised on booking.com as a three bedroom apartment but is in fact a two bedroom apartment with a sofa bed. The beds were extremely hard, and if you were tall you would find it difficult to stand upright in the upstairs bedroom, which also has no door for privacy. If you’re returning to the apartment after dark from the port direction a torch is needed!

Ruim appartement met super uitzicht middenin Portevenere

Fantastisch appartement midden in centrum van het enorm leuke havenplaatsje Portevenere. Het uitzicht is super. Ruim apartement met alles erop en eraan. Niet heel modern maar wel helemaal prima. We hebben genoten, vooral van de locatie.

Er viel eigenlijk niet iets tegen. We wisten al dat we niet konden parkeren in de buurt. Maar de enige plek waar de parkeergarage en dat was behoorlijk prijzig voor 3 nachten. Wellicht hadden we verderop goedkoper kunnen parkeren, maar na een lange reisdag hadden we geen zin om langv te zoeken en lopen.

Außergewöhnlich gute Ausstattung der Küche mit zB Waschpulver für die Waschmaschine, Tabs für den Geschirrspüler, Gewürze, Olivenöl etc. etc.

Einige neue Töpfe würden das Kochen noch etwas schöner machen.

Its lovely, but make sure you understand where you’re going and adjust your expectations accordingly

Although construction is taking place to a sizable building that will eventually block most of the view that’s left, it still looks out over the water and has snow topped mountains in the background. It’s only a few hundred meters from the ancient church as well, ideal for a night stroll along the coast. Highly recommendable.

Arriving in the dark, and not being certain where and how the meeting will take place (better communication is recommended), it was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to see that a hike was needed, us being with luggage and two small kids and all, and parking being a major problem. Next day however, after seeing where we ended up, made it all good!
