Villa Carobbi Apartments Florence

Ens va encantar el Villa Carobbi. Vam visitar Florència amb una nena petita i en dies de molta calor, així que ens va servir com a refugi climàtic a les tardes, després de passar el dia visitant la ciutat. Les instal·lacions meravelloses i l'apartament fantàstic. La única cosa a tenir en compte és que es necessita autobús per arribar des del centre o el tramvia, però en el segon cas has de fer una bona passejada fins a la parada i si fa molta calor... És el preu a pagar per estar ben tranquil i amb una piscina fantàstica :) 100% recomanable

We loved the size of the apartment, the pool and bar was fa tasting with amazing sun loungers, very few people using it and extremely clean. Bar staff were very helpful and friendly. It was about a 40 minute walk to the centre of Florence and although when we went it was very hot, if it was a little cooler we would have done it more as it was an easy walk. We took taxi’s back from the station taxi rank which cost about €20 and took about 10-15 minutes to get home. There is a coop just around the corner that you can walk to and had everything you needed.

We had the breakfast on the last day which was ok. Some improvements could be some more cereals, some brown bread and some different options on the eggs (poached or fried for example).

These apartments are situated in a bigger hotel complex the NIL hotel. This meant excellent staffing at reception, a fully functioning bar, restaurant gym and pool. I arrived without luggage for first 24 hours and reception really helped me with a charger and ordering taxis etc Big thanks to them! The apartments looked brand newly renovated in a big old Italian style villa. They were v spacious and comfortable with two large double rooms a bathroom and kitchen/lounge area. The area is near the university, there is ample car parking and local supermarket, and shops/cafes if you need them. It feels like you are part of real Lforence not the central tourist zone!

I have v little criticism of the apartments other than the kitchen could have been better equipped, no chopping board, wine glasses, stuff to do washing up ( had to buy liquid, scrub cloth etc) Nowhere to wash clothes in the apartment though you could use a room in the hotel to iron! The apartments are not central. To get into central Florence you do need to walk and catch the T2 tram. This takes around 20 mins to walk and another 10-15 travel time. There are buses closer which we found were less frequent and took much longer!

Struttura pulita ed elegante, dotata di tutto ciò(o quasi) che possa servire durante una mini vacanza

1)Non mi è piaciuto che ci hanno dato una camera sbagliata e una volta che se ne sono accorti ed essendo noi usciti,hanno trasportato le nostre cose nella camera "giusta" senza la nostra presenza 2)non c'è macchina del caffè come scritto,c'è un bollitore che "dovrebbe" fare un caffè forse all'americana 3) al bar della piscina non abbiamo mai trovato nessuno che ci servisse,neanche negli orari indicati 4) la posizione ,non è vicina al centro,occorre un auto
