Rooms, Facilities, location, excellent massage staff

By priority Poor buffet at 40eur and no a la carte options! Queuing in a cantine on customers feels more like a cheap all inclusive vacation than a 5 star. It does not match with the romantic feel of the hotel. Most of staff are unwelcoming except reception and spa and one lady in the outdoor area. Example: We came at 8.30 for dinner and started drinking wine, and at 9pm the manager, upon seeing our empty plate, instead of inviting us to the buffet, stated that we are not eating and the buffet is closed and staff are taking food away. They he told us we should have checked the leaflet with an arrogant attitude. Taxi bookings: instead of giving a call for us, they gave us a card and told us to do it ourselves. First time I see this in a 5 star. Time pressure: The rigid schedules of eating: at checkin we had to chose between breakfast at 6.30 to 9 or 9 to 10.30. Same for dinner. For massage, we had to adjust our schedule based on staff timings. On saturday, the busiest day, they were leaving at 7pm already so we had to shorten our massage duration. The ONLY toilet available for all the facilities is not maintained properly (lack of soap, toilet paper, shower gel all day) for both male and female. Same maintenance issue for sauna and aromatherapy rooms, where no one was attending to it etc.. In summary: The management of this hotel needs a reassessment of their practices and hire a few more staff to deserve a 5star status. They need to think client first instead of internal process first, especially when they charge so much!

Nice clean staff are friendly

Submitted a special request with the booking, to prebook us for the afternoon sauna sessions, received an email confirmation that they will make sure my guests and I are booked, but the information was never passed on to the wellness team so on arrival they were unaware of any prior arrangements.
