Spaciousness of the apartment, and how fully equipped the kitchen is. We used the kitchen for breakfasts and dinners, and found everything easy to use. The bedrooms are far apart and we had our privacy. Living room area is very roomy and comfortable.

The hot water heater had a problem with its thermostat. We told the host, who responded immediately by asking the electrician to come and fix it, though that was after we had already left.

There was enough space for 4 adults and 3 children and good off street parking for the two vehicles and a lockable garage for storage of the bikes. Good amount of towels and crockery/cutlery. Good size tv.

Maybe I should have done a bit more research on the area but the house is located on a rather busy street and the single glazed Lockwood home does nothing to dull that street noise. The house may be big enough for the amount of people we had staying however the hot water constantly ran out and the showers we kept to a couple minutes maximum despite us spreading them out (morning and evening). The house creaks severely in a small gust of wind or if anyone gets up in the night and the Lockwood home has no sound proofing so it’s quite noisy if you have others staying or a toddler who doesn’t sleep through the night. The windows are also questionable and some were missing latches. The main bedroom bed is comfortable but the others are extremely hard and uncomfortable.
