LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! 2 Bedroom/ 2 Bathroom, 1500 sq.ft freshly updated home on the main canal heading out to the Charlotte Harbor.
Punta Gorda is one of Florida's hidden secrets. It's a boaters and fisherman's paradise with great cruising/sailing and fishing right from your back door. The atmosphere is casual and low key, the people here are friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful historic downtown with shops and restaurants. The town is off the beaten highway path, yet close and easy access to everything you need. Beautiful beaches, unlimited shopping, children's attractions, movies/theater and cultural activities are all readily available within short drive.

Bring your boat or rent one up town (no boat hoist, just a dock), just a 5 min boat ride to Charlotte Harbor and out to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. (1 bridge to go under 12' height)
The quiet neighborhood is great for walking, running and biking and is only minutes to Fisherman's Village & the downtown area. We welcome families and couples for one weeklong vacation as well as retirees coming to enjoy a long-term rental in the sun. We have a master bedroom overlooking the pool, a queen guest room for children or another couple.
Enjoy this little slice of tranquil paradise to return to after visiting Florida's most famous theme park attractions (two hours to Busch Gardens, Tampa and Walt Disney, Orlando). Relax on the lanai after a day trip to Naples, Boca Grande, Sanibel or Sarasota, all within 1 hour drive. World class white sand beaches are only 40 minutes in any direction.
Security cameras are on the exterior of the house (Garage, Doorbell and Dock).
AIRPORTS: Fly Direct Air into Punta Gorda Airport 10 minutes from house. Less than 45 minutes to Regional Southwest Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers or 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Tampa International Airport (TPA).
RENTAL CAR: Enterprise and Hertz are located on Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda. If you prefer to have your own car, several companies will drive it down for you.
RESTAURANTS: Fisherman's village and lots of great restaurants in downtown all within 5 minutes.
SHOPPING: Less than 10 minutes to Fisherman's Village and lots of charming local shops in town or many major shopping malls about a half hour drive. Several Grocery Stores, Drug Stores, Banks, Wal-Mart and Home Depot within 2-5 miles.
GOLF: Closest is a private golf course St. Andrews South Country Club & Golf course less than 5-minute walk from house and long-term guests can obtain memberships.

The property was perfect for our needs. It's in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the canal. It was fun watching the boats go by, and we even enjoyed seeing a dolphin a few times swimming in the canal. We definitely plan on returning.

This home was more beautiful than the online pictures depicted. The outdoor living (pool, porch and canal dock) was my favorite part, but the indoor living was also beautiful. A perfect getaway for two to four people…
