Great place

This place was fantastic with a great spot close to the center. There was a very relaxing pool area with plenty of space to spread out. When I return to Oaxaca I will definitely stay here again.

If you want a swimming pool then this is great but the area is quite rough although only a short walk from the charming

The swimming pool is great and the area kept very clean

The bedrooms and bathrooms need updating and are very basic. The beds are the hardest we have slept on in Mexico with bad high pillows.

Great visit to Oaxaca and hotel was clean and safe

First day the bathroom towels had holes in them, would prefer in room safe instead of behind the desk and lack of coffee maker (although there was a coffee vending machine in the lobby)

Extremely dated hotel. A little bit of investment and TLC could make this a much nicer hotel. I realize Oaxaca has become much more expensive over the last several years, but this place is overpriced for what it is.

Great Spot

The staff were very kind and helpful. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and Fernando helped me plan some special surprises for my husband. He also helped us plan several tours and arrange transportation. And Oli did a wonderful job keeping our room nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything. Pool was great. Service excellent and very helpful.

I wish there was a mini refrigerator in the larger rooms at least. Pillows were too high because it seemed like they put 2 together. Also, I wish they had a microwave in a public area so we can warm up the food. Room was too bright at night. Need drapes. I will definitely go back

WiFi was very poor, speakers playing loudly on the street throughout the day, no hangers for clothes in the wardrobe, very hard mattresses, no blinds for the windows. Location was also not great - very hectic and relatively far from the centre

Great value for the price.

There was no breakfast. There is a restaurant to the north of the driveway, but I didn’t eat there. Cafe Alex is about a 10 minute walk. Any direction you go: there was a great place to eat. A 15 minute walk to the Zocalo and a 10 minute walk to the Mercado 20 de Noviembre. The balcony was nice. Room 201 had excellent WiFi. Big shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water.

The mattresses were VERY firm. Some noise from the outside world, but that toned down later in the night. Had noisy neighbors for one night that had a party going on until about 2 AM. Other than that, it was close to a perfect stay.

We stayed in 3 hotels for our 8 day vacation. This hotel was the best one.

We both liked the style of it. The decor. I felt very much at home. It was a very comfortable hotel.

The only issue we had was not having the security box in our room. The security box is located in the main office it was a hassle having to go to the office to get additional money out of it. It would be more convenient for everyone to have one in each room.

Do NOT STAY HERE. You will regret it. The owners do not care about guests' comfort. As an older traveler, booked this property, expensive for the area, specifically to relax by the pool in the hot afternoons after an intense morning of sightseeing. Pool was dirty on arrival, with an oil slick on top. With no warning, there was constant chain saw noise all one afternoon and into the evening (cutting down a tree) right in front of my room. Pool and courtyard could not be used, wood chips blowing into my eyes to cross from room to front door of property, room itself was unusable, with tools strewn in front of door. (No cute local cafes to flee to) Owners refused outright to make any adjustments to the bill for this lost day of use. Pool was dirty with wood chips for rest of stay.

Internet did not work in the room which was a shame. Staff told me to disconnect and reconnect to the internet, but that did not work. had to use the WiFi in the Lobby. also would be nice to have a curtain over the windows as the room was very bright in the AM

Ikke særlig pænt og rent ved poolen. Solsenge beskidte. Sengene vanvittigt hårde - det er ikke en joke, de er frygtelige! Ingen kan engelsk. Ingen forslag til hvor man kan få mad, hvilket er ret essentielt, da de ikke selv tilbyder noget. Vi oplevede et jordskælv, mens vi var der. Lidt voldsomt, men intet personale tjekkede op på os, og vi anede intet om procedurerne, hvis det skete noget.

Lugar tranquilo, cerca del zócalo y puntos de interés.

Muy buen servicio por parte del personal, muy amables y dispuestos a solucionar nuestras dudas o cuando les pedimos algo inmediatamente lo solucionaban. Mis felicitaciones a los recepcionistas, excelente trabajo. Las camas eran cómodas, las almohadas un poco duras pero eso sirvió a mi cuello curiosamente. El aire acondicionado funcionó muy bien. Las habitaciones muy limpias, hacen un excelente trabajo las recamareras. Un lugar muy tranquilo. La ubicación del lugar está bien, cerca del zócalo y puntos de interés para el visitante (a 5 cuadras del zócalo), cerca de restaurantes, cafés, farmacias y otros comercios.

La primer noche que llegamos me dió un poco de miedo la zona, se ve fea e insegura, pero al día siguiente nos dimos cuenta que no estaba tan mal, era seguro, sin embargo el recepcionista nos dió sugerencias de por donde no pasar solo como precaución. Ahora entiendo porqué no hay foto de la parte de enfrente del hotel, está muy escondido, sin embargo, si sabes usar gps no te pierdes, llegas sin problema. El hotel en fotos me pareció más grande, pero es un hotel pequeño, la alberca es mediana. Las fotos de las habitaciones si son tal cual como aparecen. Hace falta que inviertan en toallas nuevas y ropa de cama, se veían muy viejas y desgastadas, aunque estaban limpias. Una de las colchas tenía una pequeña mancha roja. El hotel necesita un poco de remodelación.
