RRJ's BEACH RESORT

Location is great, depending on what you are looking for of course. Snorkeling right in front of the resort as it’s right on the seaside and spot the house turtle, beautiful infinity pool as well. Complementary massage was great, very nice staffmembers willing to help with everything. I got a lift by scooter from a staff member to a scooter hire place (rent is 2x more than Bohol!). Taking back only they didn’t have transportation so caught a tricycle back. Big supermarket Gaisano 2km down the road, lovely breakfast! 12km to whalesharkpoint. They also let us use the fridge for our own snacks/ drink/milk. Don’t expect lots of stars, it is basic but friendly and all you need is there. When we stood outside waiting for the bus to come for ages they brought us out chairs to sit down, so kind!

The toilet seemed to leak, also couldn’t work the shower bit could have been me. Didn’t get a better rate for extending stay paying cash. Also, we arrived early (9 morning) and they wanted to make us pay 200p per hour for early check in even though there was nobody staying in the whole place? Not very customer friendly. I understand if the room is taken and needs cleaning still but it was all ready for us. Also no eateries in the vicinity.

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours au RRJ’s. Les lieux étaient très propres. L’accueil de Jess était à la hauteur de ses sourires et de sa bienveillance. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer sa fille, qui est une jeune femme très souriante et sociable et positive 👏👏. Nous avons bénéficié d’un massage d’une demi-heure exceptionnel, merciiiiii . Nous recommandons cette établissement

The view is beautiful and the room very clean.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, christian "background" music at breakfast was incredibly loud but I didnt mind

I really hate to complain, but it was really run down its hard to ignore. Holes in the sheets, clumps of hair in places on the floor, dust a mile thick in the corners and on the wicker bed frame The air conditioning didnt work. The bathroom door was almost rusted shut and the bathroom smelt so intense with cleaning fluid and was very very basic and extremely tiny. We didnt/couldn't shower because the stream was just a drip. Furniture was perished and falling to pieces. Their pet dogs bark aggressively at strangers (im not scared of dogs but people who are should be warned) and they use the pool area to do poos, and it was littered with doggy landmines. We paid around 2100p and while weren't expecting the Hilton, it wouldn't cost them anything to give the place a thorough clean and patch up.
