5 private bedrooms with doors, plus a 6th bedroom with a curtain instead of a door but it also has a secret hiding spot under the stairs for the young or young at heart. The upstairs bedrooms share a very large Jack & Jill bathroom. 3.5 bathrooms in total.
Bringing a few extra people? We provide air mattresses with fresh bedding for additional guests. Please inquire about rates.
THE KITCHEN
Our guests mention it more than anything else. You'll find double ovens, a warming drawer, 8 burner gas cooktop, plenty of cookware, serving pieces, spices, oils and pantry basics, so you can cook for the whole group without bringing much from home.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Have your morning coffee in the rocking chairs, gather on the new outdoor sofa and chairs, soak in the hot tub, or end the night around the fire pits. Out here in the countryside the stargazing is incredible.
HOLIDAYS & WINTER AT THE ESTATE
At 7,450 feet, we're one of the snowiest spots near Colorado Springs. When it snows on the Front Range, it's usually snowing here too, and our snow sticks around longer than anywhere in town. Grab a sled from the house and head to the sledding hill right out the back door (or bring your favorite sleds from home), then warm up in the hot tub or around the fire pits.
During the holiday season we decorate the house lightly, with a Christmas tree and holiday bedding in the primary bedroom and the basement queen room, so it feels festive the moment you walk in.
We've stocked the house for hosting a crowd:
120-cup coffee urn and an extra ice maker
Sterno Chafing dishes for buffets and holiday meals
Metal tiered serving stands and glass beverage dispensers
Punch bowl with matching glasses
Christmas and winter placemats and some holiday serving dishes

My family and I have been renting every year in the Colorado Springs area for the past seven years and this is the best experience we have had yet! The house was perfect for all ages in our family and the host was very flexible, communicative, and friendly. The house was very clean with great amenities for all ages. If this place is available during our next visit, we will be staying here!

We recently stayed at Mike and Michelle’s beautiful home for 6 days and 5 nights, and it was truly one of the best VRBO experiences our family has ever had. From the moment we booked, they were incredibly kind, responsive, attentive, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay.The home itself is absolutely stunning. It is spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and somehow even better than the photos. Every member of our family who came in from out of town loved the house and could not stop talking about it. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably while still spending quality time together.The views from sunrise to sunset are breathtaking and made the stay even more special. The home was also stocked with practically everything you could need, including thoughtful accommodations for little ones, which made traveling with kids so much easier.You can truly tell Mike and Michelle care deeply about their guests and take pride in creating an amazing experience. We cannot recommend this home enough and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
