Seashells, close to seafront, large private garden

Great little property and I have previously stayed in the upstairs flat. I chose this one because of the lovely walled garden, but the weather was bad all week so in fact I only used it for about half an hour! The hosts were really responsive and the flat is comfy but not luxurious - which makes it great value for money. It was chilly but the heating worked well enough and the bedroom which was at the front of the flat, and so on the main road, wasn’t noisy. The shutters kept out the light and any sound so I slept well. I would stay in either flat again. Very near the Town Mill which is a lovely little area.

Crockery is sparse and the glasses were well out of reach for anyone my height so I had to stand on a chair to reach them. There were also only 2 teaspoons though there 4 of everything else. These are very minor niggles and otherwise it was well equipped.

Quaint, convenient location near the bottom of the the high street and seaside. Well equipped, comfortable bed.

Very small kitchen, but it had a pleasant outlook.

My first ever experience staying alone somewhere. It was huge, lovely double bed, such soft artificial grass, wonderful seating outside with honeysuckle hedges, sparrows and gulls

It was too warm, a fan would be nice

I liked the location, and it did have everything you would need for a short stay. The cookies and prosecco was a nice touch.

The bed was very uncomfortable, I would say the mattress and linen could definitely do with upgrading. It would also be good for people to be aware that the bedroom is on the side of the property that is right next to the road, with an awful lot of traffic noise and people walking very close by the window. And the noise from upstairs was a big issue. I understand that the property is an old property, but maybe a few polite notices upstairs to ask people to be mindful of the guests below, especially as upstairs clearly can cater to a child, the constant banging, slamming and stomping around wasn’t necessarily relaxing when you’ve had a tiring day. The uncomfortable sleep a long with excessive noise did affect our stay.
