My first ever experience staying alone somewhere. It was huge, lovely double bed, such soft artificial grass, wonderful seating outside with honeysuckle hedges, sparrows and gulls

The property was close to pubs, restaurants, shops, beach for us to walk to. Good size property & garden. It was nice to have a welcome gift of bottle of drink & box of biscuits. Good to have the clothes airer for wet towels & to use to hang sweaty clothes.
Hot water was slow at coming through taps, sink plug in bathroom didn’t work adequately. Property was hoovered & had clean bedding & towels but some of the contents of the property were dusty.

Everything needed for a short break. Good location. Nice design touches throughout the property plus tea, coffee, sugar and more provided. Lovely garden.
You need to take care when pulling in by car to load and unload. Very few places to do so; needs a little extra thought as stopping just outside the house is difficult. But we managed without too much walking distance.

I liked the location, and it did have everything you would need for a short stay. The cookies and prosecco was a nice touch.
The bed was very uncomfortable, I would say the mattress and linen could definitely do with upgrading. It would also be good for people to be aware that the bedroom is on the side of the property that is right next to the road, with an awful lot of traffic noise and people walking very close by the window. And the noise from upstairs was a big issue. I understand that the property is an old property, but maybe a few polite notices upstairs to ask people to be mindful of the guests below, especially as upstairs clearly can cater to a child, the constant banging, slamming and stomping around wasn’t necessarily relaxing when you’ve had a tiring day. The uncomfortable sleep a long with excessive noise did affect our stay.
