Lakeview Little House

Stunning backdrop. Wonderful to sit out as the sun set and chat about the day. The patio and windows are the place's biggest asset. A lovely large table to eat and play games. Fondue set was available which was fun.

Not much. There could be more chairs in the living area.

Lo mejor de la casa son las vistas, que son realmente espectaculares. Tanto al amanecer como al anochecer es una maravilla poder sentarse en la terraza y admirar el paisaje. La casa es grande, especialmente la zona del salón. La cocina está completamente equipada con lavadora, lavavajillas, horno...Además se proporcionan productos de limpieza para usar. La casa cuenta con 2 mesas grandes para comer, una en el exterior y otra en el interior de la casa. La mesa exterior no pudimos usarla para comer porque se acercaban abejas (hay que tener en cuenta que la casa está en plena naturaleza). Cuenta con 3 habitaciones, que se agradece mucho en nuestro caso al ser 5. Es imprescindible tener coche para poder moverse, el parking está a unos metros de la casa y la ubicación es muy buena para ir a los imprescindibles del entorno: Oeschinensee, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen.... El dueño atendió las peticiones que le hicimos al llegar de algunas cosas que necesitábamos (toallas, tendedero...)

Baño pequeño para 5 personas y con poco espacio para dejar cosas. Dos de las tres habitaciones son pequeñas. El precio, aunque similar al resto de alojamientos de la zona, nos sigue pareciendo muy caro en comparación con otros paises que hemos visitado.

The selling point of the property is the stunning view over Thundersee, which is absolutely breathtaking. For our family of four visiting this time it was ideal. The house is spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The host has spared no expense with high quality furnishings and fittings. The wi-fi was dependable throughout our stay, essential for my work, and the bandwidth tolerated video calls via Zoom/Teams. Access to Spiez and Interlaken is easy by road, even in early January when there is snow around. The road down to the property from the main street is quite steep but there was no problem with ice. We pass through quite regularly and usually stay in Kandersteg for the BLS transit, but this property is a good additional option. However, it is better for a few days of relaxation than as a stopover.

There were no negatives for us. Perhaps there might be accessibility issues for people with impaired mobility (steps from parking area to the property).
