The quirkiness of the building because it was so old. The quiet surroundings. The history behind the existence of the cottage. The close proximity of other facilities.

Close to pub. Close to the canal. Plenty to do. Close to the wedding venue ultimately went to. Close to an excellent tearoom.
It was a little damp. The kitchen cupboards could do with a little tic. There was everything you could need except a hairdryer.
