Host was kind and friendly. The locals who showed up were also friendly and happy. I guess people in Sapporo are the happiest in Japan since they have great access to nature.

This is a lovely house, full of character and absolutely unique. Kudo-san is a great host very kind and accommodating. A great cook to, loved the breakfast. And even patient enough to listen to my poor Japanese.

Friendly owner who organized a transfer to and from the house, good breakfast
It was really hard to sleep without air conditioning in a very small room. We had to sleep with an open door and a kind of AC that is present in the corridor is very very loud, so the sleep quality was very bad.
The location is also fairly far away from the center of Sapporo.
