The social aspect of this hostel is stellar, the facilities are pretty good too. The location is not too far from good facilities also.
The staff came across quite rude sometimes. Whenever I would ask for something they would make it seem like a huge burden. The rooms were okay, however the beds were very uncomfortable.

I really didn't stay long since i arrived late and leaved early but it's seem to be a very good place to stay longer. There is a big garden where people gather and a very nice leaving room.
Everything was clean.
The bed is cracking and make noise when you move.

Staff was very nice and helpful. They were very accommodating as they let me hang out at the hostel until my midnight flight. Took bus 79 to/from Almaty Airport to within 1/4 mile to the hostel.

The property does a have social vibe that’s pretty much unfindable in the rest of Central Asia. Nice court yard where people hang out.
The hotel is dirty and uncomfortable, big rooms with no privacy curtains, our room didn’t even have a door so despite an air conditioner it was always boiling. Bathrooms were also bad, showers were dirty with mould and chewing gum stuck to them. The hostel is pretty much sold out through the summer and is obviously popular why the owners don’t reinvest to make there offering better I have no idea.
