Alladin Capsule Hotel

My eight-night stay at Alladin Capsule Hotel in Almaty was an enjoyable experience and met my expectations. The hotel is located a 15 min walk from the bus stop on Abay Avenue from which bus nr 92 departs for the Airport, so its location is very convenient. The bus stop at which you get arrive from the Airport is even closer, a 10 min from the object. It is situated on the ground floor of a many-floor building. Rooms are typical capsules, therefore they are quite small, but a little bit larger premium rooms are also available. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms and toilets are clean. Hot water is available all the time. There is a very well equipped kitchen annex with plates, cutlery, pots, a fridge, a microwave oven, a stove, a sink and, what I really liked, even a water dispenser! There is also a free laundry facility. The members of the reception staff, especially Nurbol, Sanzhar and Ali-Askar, are very helpful and always happy to assist guests with their needs during both the stay at the hotel as well as exploring Almaty and its surroundings. They are very nice, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and respond enquiries sent to the hotel very quickly. They definitely do their job very well and are right people at the right place. It made a big impression on me how dedicated they are to solving the hotel guest's problems, especially Nurbol and Sanzhar. A traditional Kazakh breakfast is offered in lunch boxes and two types, and is tasty. Please note that there is no room cleaning service, no change of towels and no welcome toiletry kit, so I sometimes felt a little bit like at a luxurious hostel, but it was not a problem for me. Wi-Fi network is very reliable, fast and the signal is strong. Free slippers are given upon arrival. I evaluate value for money very good. However, it is not a place for demanding guests expecting luxurious conditions or families with kids. It is excellent for single travellers. I am generally satisfied with my stay.

It would be a good idea to place more rubber mats in front of shower cabins as this area is very slippery - I had a serious and painful accident when I was leaving the cabin, hitting the threshold with my back. It is good that the water drain is being repaired. Moreover, the toilet door lock is sticking, it sometimes even gets blocked. It would also be a good idea to provide more hangers in the bathroom. The hotel was opened three months ago, so it is still developing and things are getting better.

Très bon établissement. La chambre est certes petite mais confortable et bien agencée. Le personnel de l'auberge est accueillant, j'ai même pu imprimer des documents dont j'avais besoin à la réception. La partie commune est spacieuse, confortable et très jolie. Il y a une cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut, de l'eau potable toujours disponible et un lave-linge gratuit.
