This is a truly unique place to stay, with art to grab your attention everywhere you look. Frank's hosting was wonderful and we had a great meal (arranged in advance) and a fantastic breakfast. We only stayed one night but it was the most memorable night of our 2 week trip.

Very unusual property. Full of interesting art. Hosts were lovely, took time to show us the Chateau and gardens with good English. They told us about the history. We were travelling home and we arrived early evening and asked ahead for dinner. They provided us with a 3 course home cooked meal, with local produce and their own apple juice. All of it was lovely.

Spectacular, a dream; 10 points are far too few – I’d actually like to award this accommodation many more points;
The hosts are very attentive, cater to your wishes, and show you round the accommodation and the works of art on display.
If you’re staying there for several nights, you should set aside at least one day just to enjoy the accommodation and the beautiful, spacious garden.

I run in the mornings so the location for that purpose was very nice.
It’s a bit over the top with the metal gothic circus-creepy dolls and creatures for my taste. There’s are faces staring out of windows and the whole place has a M. Night Shymalan vibe. If you’re into it, go for it! The setting on the river is nice!
