We were so impressed by the whole experience: the team was so friendly and helpful, and the whole hotel is so beautiful. We especially enjoyed the outdoor gym with a view of the lake. The food was excellent, and the team took such good care. It started raining during our dinner, and they had a big set of umbrellas ready, handing them to us as we went back to the room.

The cabins (more like small houses) are set in a beautiful location. I stayed for three nights in July 2026. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out it was a pleasure to deal with the staff. Everyone, without exception was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The cabin was very spacious, nicely furnished and clean. It had a fan as well as AC. The bathroom was also quite large and clean. All the necessary features and amenities were available in the room. I had both breakfast and dinner. There were Sri Lankan and Western options for breakfast. The dinner menu had quite a few varied cuisine options. The Sri Lankan options I had for both breakfast and dinner were very tasty and in ample portions. The hotel provides water in flasks, which is a nice environmentally friendly touch. There's also a Bluetooth speaker in the room that you can connect to. There are further nice touches where a fruit juice drink and a local sweet is brought to the room in the afternoons. The hotel arranged two safaris for me, I was very happy with both arrangements. This is a hotel I can highly recommend.

There was nothing I disliked.

The location on a lake was amazing for bird watching. Service was exceptional. And the eye to detail was perfect. Not to mention the most amazing massage.

Couldn’t find fault!
