First line of the beach

We were delighted by our stay at this property. It's the best position on the beach - gorgeous views, steps to the sand, yet private and comfortable. Our family of five had plenty of room with 2 bathrooms and the layout provides for maximum privacy. Air conditioning was welcome in the unusually hot June weather. There is a supermarket a five min drive away, small markets even closer. We ate breakfast and lunch on the patio watching the beach fill in and the boats anchor offshore. At night we were spoiled for choice within walking distance for dinner and drinks in Cala D'Or. Very highly recommended - Book it if it's open - you won't regret it! (A few tips: watch where you park on the street and avoid the spots where the pigeons roost. And make sure you try the fresh fruit from the singing beach vendor. )

Great villa, bigger than expected and right on the beach. Walkable to town, supermarket and marina.

High-end decor and condition, and best location overlooking the beach.

This property is one of a few bungalows in a small, gated area adjacent to Cala Gran. My teenage kids loved being able to just let themselves through the gate and directly onto the beach and we could keep an eye on them from the spacious balcony. The apartment is perfectly comfortable as a holiday home. The owner, Barbara met us on our arrival and showed me how everything worked and was on hand if we needed anything during our stay. The centre of Cala D'or with all its restaurants and bars is no more than a 5 minute walk away and there is even a small Spar across the road although the far more reasonably priced Eroski superstore is about 15 minutes walk or 5 min drive. The TV was tuned to either Spanish or German programs, so if you like watching TV on your holiday, you'll need to make your own arrangements (but you really won't need to if you're going in the summer as the weather is usually great all day and evening)Really cannot recommend this more and I hope to return again soon.
