The apartment is located in the beautiful, private complex Bungalows Playa d'Or. The apartment is located in the first row of the beach, right on the beautiful bay of Cala Gran. With private access, the beach and the large communal pool are only a few steps away. Via the balcony (you get a key for the balcony gate) and a path it goes in 30m directly to the sandy bay of Cala Gran.
In addition, the 4 other beaches in Cala d`Or are within walking distance: 300m to Cala d`Or, 500m to Cala Serena,
700m to Cala Esmeralda, 800m to Cala Llonga and
to Cala Ferrera.
The center of Cala d'Or is about 2 minutes away on foot. There are numerous shopping streets, restaurants, bars, bakeries, cafes, pharmacies, a German 24-hour medical center and dental surgeries.
In addition, the exclusive marina of Cala d'Or invites you to sleep.
There is also a small supermarket directly opposite. And in 50m you will find a bus station.

The entire apartment was renovated in 2015 with a new kitchen, new tiles and floors, new toilets, vanities, 2 Netflix flat screen TVs included, 3 air conditioning units and new furniture in all rooms! Parquet flooring has been installed in bedroom 1 and new tiles everywhere.
The apartment is located directly on the sea, above the Cala Gran.
The south-facing balcony has sun all day and a great view of the beach and the large communal pool, which is ideal for sunbathing, relaxing and refreshing with sun loungers.
There are 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 open kitchen and a large balcony (32sqm).

Second Bedroom 13 sqm: desk with a view of the beach, french. Double bed 1.50 x 1.90m, private bathroom with toilet. Vanity and shower, air conditioning. This bedroom is separated from the living room with curtains.
Living room 18sqm: 55 inch flat screen TV with FullHD satellite TV and DVD player.
Cozy sofa that can be pulled out and then offers 1-2 beds (1.40 x 2.00 m). Music system with radio, CD and Bluetooth, large dining table, air conditioning.
Kitchen 9 sqm: brand new kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, large 2.01m fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fruit juice mixer.
There is a new washing machine and dryer in the storage room.
Other: baby bed, baby high chair, iron, safe, DVD, CD, radio, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner.
Excursion destinations: The nature reserve Cala Mondrago can be reached in 8 km. And the dream beach of Mallorca Es Trence is about 30km away.
If the air conditioning systems consume more than 61 kWh of energy per week, the actual additional costs used will be calculated.
Pets and smoking are not allowed in the apartment.
Detailed description of the CALA GRAN:
The sandy beach of Cala Grand is located near the center of the resort of Cala d’Or. The beach is equipped with all amenities, there is a bar, a restaurant, toilets, showers, loungers, parasols and a guard. Excursion boats also stop here. You can also visit a diving school. If you follow the small path along the rocky coast, you will come to a small cave and will always find places where you can slide into the water via ladders or with a dive.

All communication with Tanja was great with speedy replies and helpful information.
The apartment is well looked after and has clean, fresh linens. Balcony is a good size and plenty of room for 4 of us!
The people watching opportunities from the balcony vantage point were great! There is noise of hustle and bustle from the beach but it's very quiet at night and we slept very well!
The location is fantastic, near to all the restaurants and shops.
The pool was beautiful and well kept. Maybe not ideal for young kids/ less strong swimmers as there is only a small shallow area and the rest is very deep.
Would definitely recommend and Tanja is a great host!

The apartment had all equipment and facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Location overlooking beach was really great - we enjoyed people watching from balcony table in mornings. Cala Gran beach is brilliant for snorkelling and floating around in calm cove. Would stay again and have recommended to friends.

Frau Meier war sehr hilfreich und alles lief reibungslos. Wir konnten die Wohnung, den Pool und die Umgebung geniessen. Einzige Verbesserungsvorschläge: Putzlappen, Schwamm und Reserve Kehrichtsäcke sowie Toilettenpapier könnte zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Weve been to Cala Dor (and more specifically Cala Gran where this apartment is) 3 times now and this is certainly the nicest place we have stayed in. The location is perfect - it really couldnt be better. You can sit on the balcony and look over the large and impressive pool, with the gorgeous sandy beach right behind and accessible through the locked gate at the bottom of the path. Superb! The sun shines all day long on the balcony too!The apartment itself is great for a family - our two kids loved the large bedroom with its ensuite bathroom, while my wife and I slept in the double room off the living room, also with its ensuite shower room. The centre of Cala DOr is only a couple of minutes walk away, where there are a multitude of lovely restaurants and shops. When we return to Cala DOr in the future, theres no doubt that this is the place we will want to stay in!
