The couple, who runs the accomodation, are extremely friendly and welcoming. The owner helped me with one of my suitcases. A good breakfast was available each morning, the hotel is located on the quiet side of the Hongdae main street, but takes less than 10 min to get to the Hongik Uni station, Hongdae Shopping Street and Airport Limousine for Incheon. Lots of shopping options varying from international clothing brands like Adidas to popular Korean brands like Musinsa, Olive Young.
Beware of the stairs with uneven stones/steps - a bit tricky to navigate heavier suitcases alone

We absolutely loved staying here, we even extended our stay. The facilities are really clean, the beds are super comfortable and it’s helpful having access to the kitchen and laundry machine. Only a few mins walk to Hongik Uni. Subway line. The staff were very helpful and helpful, we will stay here again 😊
We liked the quiet location, however if you’re wanting to be in amongst the action of Hongdae it’s a good 10 min walk to the main streets.

It was so good, and I couldn't be bothered looking elsewhere, I extended my stay. The owners were very accommodating. And it was a good location, good breakfast and very clean and tidy.
Well, I did extend by three days, so there's not much for me to complain about.
