The location was very convenient, being only a 5–10 minute walk from the port, which made arriving with our large bags nice and easy. The property was also easy to find thanks to the clear signage. The staff were friendly, and the bungalow itself was spacious and comfortable. We really appreciated having both a fan and air conditioning, which kept the room nice and cool. The small outdoor seating area at the top of the bungalow was also a lovely spot to relax.

The call to prayer was much louder than we expected and woke us up around 5:00 am every morning. We were also surprised that there were lots of children using the pool throughout the day, as the property was advertised as a party hostel, but there wasn’t really any party atmosphere. Check-in information could have been clearer—for example, we didn’t realise we could collect extra toilet paper whenever we needed it. Communication was sometimes difficult because of the language barrier, and the stairs leading up to our bungalow didn’t feel particularly safe. The sliding doors to the bungalow were also very stiff and difficult to open and close.

Good location and friendly stuff

The rooms looks way different from the pictures, there was a gap on the bathroom door where I saw cockroach coming from outside and the pool had so much chlorine that smell so bad.
