The property was in a great location. It is really nice being right on the water, and hearing it was soothing with the windows open. There’s a fire pit and outdoor seating and a little ramp on the side we used to put our kayaks into the water. The fire pit was already stocked with wood. It’s also a few minutes from so many great restaurants and places to check out. We really liked the upstairs and downstairs balconies, and being able to open windows for fresh air. It’s also quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable to us. There was also a couple of board games and lots of books. We found ourselves enjoying a board game called “upword” that’s similar to scrabble. Overall, it was pretty relaxing, and we wouldn’t mind staying again.
The inside of the place had a terrible smell when entering. At first It gave me the impression that there might be mold issues, and it was extremely off putting for me. I think it may have just been stale air from the ac being off. I am very sensitive to allergens and smells. once we turned on the air and left the windows open for awhile, it seemed to dissipate and neutralize. I also would say the carpet on the stairs is outdated and appeared visibly dirty like it needed to be steam cleaned. There were a few things that could be updated, just in my opinion. the lights on the upstairs balcony needed new bulbs so at night we couldn’t see sitting out there. I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot inside, either. We found a cellar spider in the master bathroom, and lots of orb weaver spiders on everything outside, like on all the balconies and railings. and what looked like like dirt dobbers kept trying to get in the house. And were trying to nest in the doors. All harmless, though. There’s very little lighting in the master bedroom. Overall not too bad though!

The location is excellent. The views are absolutely gorgeous. Dock is in great shape and a great place to swim or relax.
There were a lot of bugs and spiders. The webs have been going awhile.

the view was amazing
the downstairs bathroom had a horrible smell. i had to go buy air freshener to put in it immediately when we arrived
