This redecorated and updated lakefront townhouse is just perfect for those seeking fun, relaxation and solitude on beautiful Lake Chatuge in the heart of the North Georgia mountains. There are awesome views of Lake Chatuge and the surrounding mountains from both levels.
Walk just a view steps from your backdoor and you are on the large community dock which is great for fishing, swimming or sunbathing. Then just a short walk of a few blocks and you are in the Hiawassee, Georgia downtown shopping district. A short car ride puts you within easy access to the Appalachian Trail, waterfalls, golf courses, bike/hiking trails, spas and much more.
The unique property is situated on a point of land that juts out just a few yards from Lake Chatuge's main channel. There are both short and long-range views of a protected nature preserve where deer and bald eagles have been occasionally spotted. During summer months you can view a variety of watercraft as they past right in front of you.

The host is always thorough and communicative, and the property is always in working order. This was our second stay in three years. We were gone most of the time in order to complete my deceased dad's memorial service. Location is very convenient for us.

Our host was very communicative and allowed us an early check in. Very convenient location and trees and lake view were spectacular. Flannel sheets on the bed were wonderful touch. Condo could use a deep cleaning and need to spray for bugs downstairs. Could be the change of seasons for the insect world. Very nice porch for sunsets.

The location was ideal for accessing the many Appalachia Hiking trail, other local hiking trails, water falls, and north east Georgia fall activities. A near by Ingles grocery provided easy access for stocking the kitchen. Laundry facilities allowed mid-trip laundry a breeze. We also enjoyed very ideal evening dinners on the back balcony overlooking the lake, which included many outstanding fall colors.
