Super Room for Super price!
Our expectations were exceeded. We received a very warm welcome. The service was excellent. It's just a stone's throw from the old town, and the price was fantastic. A little tip: There's an inexpensive restaurant right next to the accommodation. Much better than the tourist traps in the old town. We'd gladly stay again!

Good location
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the water in the bathroom was nice and hot and the location was close to the bus station and town centre
We found it difficult to find the property and were not sure what to do to enter the property from the apartment block entrance. We didn't know we had to press one of the buttons on the buzzer panel at the building entrance. We didn't know the owner couple and another person occupied the apartment and that we had a bedroom and bathroom in their apartment. The listing showed an air conditioner as a facility but there was only a ceiling fan and a portable standing cooler/fan that didn't cool the hot room. Check in and communication with the hostess was very difficult because she did not understand English and we don't understand Spanish so she resorted to typing on a translator on her cellphone and we had to do the same to communicate so it was very tedious. There was no dining table and no coffee. The "kitchen" was a tiny bar fridge and microwave and kettle in the room which made it very cramped.

A nice stay
We stayed at casa Shiva for a couple of nights. The property was very clean and tidy with all the comforts you need (towels, shampoo etc). The room is big enough for two people and we found the bed particularly comfortable. The owner is just lovely: she is a very kind lady who allowed us to use the room for one extra afternoon on our departure. Would definitely recommend!

I was only passing through for one night and left early next morning and wished I could have spoken more with the host. There is a lock on the bedroom door and all was quiet. It has a shared bathroom was this was acceptable and very clean.
It was a little bit dark climbing the stairs and in the corridors but I used my torch on my mobile. A tip for others.

Nice comfortable room close to the city centre (homestay)
Lovely host nice flat very comfortable room. All information and facilities required.
It's a shared room in the flat but everything is accomataded for, nice clean and quiet.
Location is perfect 10mins walk to the old town where you can enjoy all the restaurants bars and sights of Malaga.

Amazing host
The host was very helpful and nice, providing extra help if needed.
She organise a city by night to help me visit spots.
Her apartment is very well located, in the City centre closed to most facilities.
She is very clean, you can tell from all through the apartment and from the interior your would barely notice you are at the heart of the city.
I would 100%recommend her and would stay at hers again.

The only thing was the very hot weather at the time of my stay. She has just a fan so it was a bit difficult but It wasn't her fault has they usually don't have the type of weather.
And maybe the light of the room could be brighter, I suggest.

Verschrikkelijke ervaring, helaas na 1 slapeloze nacht weggegaan.
De advertentie klopt niet met de werkelijkheid. Je huurt een kamer bij iemand die er zelf woont, het is geen hostel of hotel. Het ''Queensize'' bed is een houten 1 persoonsbed, met 1.90 meter kon ik er niet in liggen. Er is geen airco aanwezig maar een blower, deze volstaat niet. Het is zo benauwd op de kleine kamer ik kon er niet van slapen. Daarnaast zorgde de bewoner voor geluidsoverlast, ik was om 23.00 thuis tot 02.00 nachts werd er muziek geluisterd, gebeld en schoongemaakt (stof gezogen). Ik heb mijn verblijf na 1 dag afgebroken aangezien ik een hele nacht wakker heb gelegen, een waardeloze ervaring.

La ubicación
El huesped no contestó en toda la tarde, al llegar a la ubicación puesta no había ningún edificio por lo que seguí mandandole mensajes, escribiendo y llamando y no obtuve respuesta.
Como no obtuve respuesta y me quedé tirada tuve que pagarme otro alojmiento para la noche. Finalmente ya casi de madrugada contesta el huesped diciendome que me alojase y me dice: " haber tocado timbre y te hubieran abierto". Al tener más días pagados procedí a pasar demás días ahí. Le pido la dirección y me da una dirección diferente a la que figuraba en Booking. Al llegar no se me pide perdón ni se busca una solución teniendo en cuenta que yo tuve que gastarme 65€ en una habitación a último momento porque no contestaban ni a mensajes, llamadas o mensajes de whatsapp y que encima la dirección dada era erronea; simplemente me dicen "haber preguntado dónde estaba la calle" ¿Cómo voy a saber la calle a la que tengo que ir si no es la que figura en la información del alojamiento? Al comentar que siguiendo la ubicación dada a Booking se me comenta que sí, que a más gente le ha pasado, es decir, que había constancia de que había algo mal en la dirección pero no lo han ni cambiado ni han hecho nada. No se me pide en ningún momento perdón por haberme dejado tirada en una ciudad que no conozco habiendo reservado la estancia con un mes de antelación.
Cabe destacar también que la puerta del baño no tranca algo especialmente incómodo quedándote en una casa agena ya que no puedes ir al baño tranquila ni sintiéndote segura.
Normalmente usando este tipo de plataformas, los huespedes días antes de tú llegada o el día antes te escriben para volver a dar información acerca del alojamiento y concretar donde se situa, para comentarte en qué horarios tienen el teléfono operativo o a qué otros teléonos puedes llamar; pero aquí el trato por el huesped ha sido completamente nulo aún sabiendo que tenía problemas con la ubicación del alojamiento.

Dormir en piso ajeno
La cama es cómoda. El centro está a 20min andando. La habitación estaba bastante limpia.
Es difícil aparcar, por si a alguien le sirve aparcamos en el parking San Juan, 20h 28€, bastante caro pero almenos no tenías que dejar la llave como en algunos otros que habíamos leído de la zona.
No nos pidieron ningún tipo de documentación. El alojamiento no está señalizado, llamas a un piso normal, donde viven una señora y su hijo.
El piso huele a antiguo y raro... La verdad que se nos hizo extraño.
No hay aire condicionado, en su lugar un ventilador de techo y uno de pie. En verano debe de ser muy caluroso.

Brak klimatyzacji - jedynie tanie przenośne urządzenie z nadmuchem, zabrudzone , zapach wilgoci pościeli , pokój mały i zatłoczony, nie spełniający standardów wynajmu, raczej prywatny pokój mieszkalny niż hotelowy. Właściciel nie odpowiada na wiadomości. Główna ulica bardzo głośna w nocy, co uniemożliwia spanie ( brak klimatyzacji wymusza otwarcie okna).

Málaga la belle !
La proximité du centre historique, on peut y aller, on se gare et la voiture ne bouge plus. La chambre est très propre, la salle de bain est propre et est dans la chambre, ça est très appréciable, l'hôte est agréable.
La chambre donne sur une rue très passante et bruyante, manque un climatiseur digne de ce nom.
Pour ce qui est du stationnement, c est compliqué, quand on ne veut pas payer, sinon il y a des parkings pas très loin de la chambre.

Estuvimos esperando en el portal 25 min, timbrando, llamando y intentando comunicar con el propietario sin respuesta.(Llegando en la hora de la tarde solicitada y confirmada previamente)
Finalmente me responde por whatsApp, subimos y el señor hace como si nada, ninguna explicación y tampoco se disculpa, pide documentos para hacer el check-in y muestra la habitación.
Me pareció un anfitrión con poca amabilidad y poco hospitalario, a parte de la situación peculiar.
La habitación no tiene aire acondicionado como se anuncia, hay un ventilador de techo que hace la experiencia sea un poco decepcionante 😕
Escogí está habitación por ubicación y la buena puntuación pero son valoraciones antiguas que no corresponden con la realidad.
Creo que no es un alojamiento que repetiría y tampoco recomendaría.

Окна в моей комнате выходили в колодец, было душновато..спасал немного вентилятор! Но тут нет претензий к хозяевам, просто предупреждение)

Nefasto,no solo no es profesional sino que no subsana el error y tengo que reclamar a Booking.
Se habla con el propietario antes de hacer la reserva para confirmar que no hay ningún problema,ya que en el anuncio pone que es hasta las 20 horas,me atiende y me dice que sin problemas,que se puede hacer la entrada a esa hora
Llego a la horquilla que le dije aproximada(de 22 a 22:30) en la que iba a llegar y aquí empieza el problema:
Llamo a los teléfonos de contacto y al telefonillo y nadie me contesta,por lo que me veo a esa hora,teniendo que madrugar para viajar sin donde hospedarme.
Me busco otro alojamiento,me escribe pidiendo mil disculpas y que va a hablar con Booking para mí devolución,al día siguiente pone excusas y así me encuentro,estafado y con Booking hablando para solucionar el problema.

con Antonia y David nos sentimos como en casa.
Nos gustó la situación pues está cerca de todo lo importante de la ciudad de Málaga.
La atención por parte de Antonia (Toñi) fue excepcional, en el trato amable y cercano, los consejos de que visitar, donde comer, como ir, etc., sugerencias de que hacer, etc.
Si volvemos a Málaga sin duda repetiremos en Casa Shiva, donde Antonia y su hijo David nos acogieron y trataron de manera excepcional.
