Nemo dat quod non habet (no one can give what they do not have). Casa del Limon has it all.

Tucked away in a quiet street just a fifteen minute walk from the train station Maria Zambrano is the utterly delightful oasis that is Casa del Limon. A beautiful lemon tree with a delightful array of fruit readily catches the eye. Monika and her partner could not have made a weary traveller more welcome. I was warmly invited to use the extremely well appointed property as a home from home. A sunny interior courtyard led to my cosy bedroom, adjacent to which was my shower room. It is a unique experience to meet such genuinely hospitable people who go out of their way to make you welcome. I very much look forward to my next visit.

We stayed one week. We love Malaga and will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Very clean, a warm cosy room - enough space and a big cupboard to store our clothes etc. A lovely family to stay with. We could use their kitchen to have breakfast and even a light evening meal.

Comfortable, convenient and good value for money

Very friendly and flexible hosts. My flight was delayed and although I was given self check-in instructions, Monika waited up to greet me, so lovely of her. Great shower. Great location, plenty of bars nearby for breakfast. Would not hesitate to return.

Great value for your money

The host was the nicest and sweetest lady ever. She did an amazing job cleaning up the room and the bathroom was very clean. Such good value for your money and in my opinion much more enjoyable than hostel.

I wouldn’t say there were any real negatives but some people may complain that it is to far from the city center but we had no problems walking to and from the train station that is less than a mile away

Clean but not worth the money

Very clean and the owner was very friendly. He waited for me to arrive even whenI didn't arrive until after 11pm.

I sleep very late and had my alarm set for 9:30 but I was woken up by 2 men hocking back spit and spitting it out clearing their sinuses very close to my bedroom window. They did this 10 times which not only sounds disgusting but destroyed any hope of me falling back asleep. After they were talking to eachother very loudly. Also, on the description, the "15 minute walk" (really 20) is fine during the day, or when you know where you're going and walk fast but arriving at night, you need to get a taxi. Also the bathroom is on the other side of the kitchen and you have a towel for a man i.e. it can go around your waist but not your boobs so you have to cross the kitchen fully clothed, take off your dirty clothes in the bathroom and get dressed again which means you take more time. The bathroom also, you share with the owner, his wife and child. And they're in the bedroom next to you. You can hear them snore! I luckily was only there for one night but it felt very intimate. I'm not that close to my own family so as nice as they are, I felt uncomfortable. The furniture in the bedroom is squashed together too but there's no need cause it's a big room. You can't open the wardrobe doors and there's no plug socket next to the bed but there is on the back wall. If I had stayed longer than 1 night, I would've rearranged the furniture. The room size is good so it's just a small complaint.

Nice local homestay

Location near the train station and walking distance to the centre. Very nice hosts, lovely family! The room is very cosy. The owners allowed us to keep our things in the house after check out and use the kitchen and bathroom. We were given their amazing fresh lemons from the lemon tree. Thank you for everything!

Les propriétaires nous ont bien accueillies. Ils ont été très discrets durant notre séjour.

Peu de couverts disponibles dans la cuisine partagée. La salle de bain partagée n'était pas très propre. Il manquait de quoi accrocher des affaires dans la chambre (seulement qq cintres disponibles dans une armoire).

La gente muy acogedora y simpática. Todo bastante limpio. El precio bien para lo que es.

Esa habitación es para una persona ya que la cama está contra la pared y pequeña. Hay que cruzar el salón para entrar y también la cocina, no es íntimo. El baño entre cocina y salón... Deberían de cambiar la alfombrilla de la ducha.

Proprietari accoglienti e disponibili. Per i pochi giorni che ho trascorso (praticamente 3 notti) il bagno condiviso non è stato troppo problematico e sono riuscito a gestirmi ed alternarmi bene anche con i proprietari.

In fase di prenotazione non era specificato il bagno condiviso (che per fortuna non mi ha creato problemi). Durante il soggiorno gli unici veri problemi sono stati l'umidità in camera, molto fastidiosa e difficile da contrastare con il deumidificatore (puntato contro il letto) e l'altro problema è che le pareti praticamente sono vuote, come non averle, si sente ogni singolo rumore, dal bagno, ogni movimento, la cucina, strada, tutto insomma.

7. zastávka: cestujeme s booking po jižním Španělsku. Toto ubytování bylo velmi příjemné a hlavně čisté 👍 Pokoj byl vybaven klimatizací, před pokojem bylo posezení. Koupelnu a záchod jsme měli sami pro sebe. V lednici jsme měli jednu poličku pro sebe 👍 Parkovat lze v okolí domu zdarma. Velmi příjemní hostitelé. Dokonce jsme na pokoj dostali uvítací dárek v podobě dvou vod, čaje a bonbonů. Vše je z ubytování dostupné pěšky - kavárny, restaurace, pekárna, obchody, historické památky a pláž se nachází cca 3 km. Určitě doporučuji. Předchozí 6. zastávka - Wish Suite Hercules de Sevilla , další 8. zastávka - Big room Happy Alicante.

El alojamiento estaba en muy buena ubicación. La casa estaba muy limpia y tuvimos en todo momento la sensación de privacidad. Monica y su marido fueron muy atentos y amables con nosotros. Al dejar la habitación, se nos olvidó un libro y cuando nos pusimos en contacto con ellos para que nos lo enviaran, nos pusieron todas las facilidades para que lo recuperáramos. Quedamos super satisfechos con este alojamiento.

Sauber und sehr freundlich

Super liebe Gastgeber, sehr sauber. Mückennetze am Fenster waren auch top. Ausserdem durften wir unser Gepäck dort zwei Tage lagern.

Die Nacht war kein Wind, daher war es sehr heiß im Zimmer, Klimaanlage gab es leider keine, aber dafür einen Ventilator.
