We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We liked the spacious room and the location with the old town in walking distance.

It would have been nice to have a larger blanket. I thought it weird to have a Kingsize bed with a blanket hardly bigger than for a children bed.

Excellent hotel for a sharp (for Switzerland) price, very friendly staff

Spacious room and bathroom, large comfortable bed, room is quiet, very friendly and professional staff, nice location.

The only remark I have is that it would be nice to have some more rails in the bathroom to hang up towels.

Disappointing…

Location and nothing else

No parking provided yet advertised as having. Then we found it but we’re not allowed to use it. No temperature control in the rooms. Lights were very difficult to operate… Staff could not be found when needed…

Great location, nice 4-star hotel, lovely town.

Hotel is right in the middle of this very pretty town and right on the river. As we were travelling around Switzerland using only trains and other public transport, the hotel was in a great spot too. Not far from the station and right next to a busy bus stop. Friendly staff, nice comfortable room. Good breakfasts.

Perfect location close to the city center. Nice comfortable room, clean. If you like quiet, then ask for room away from the street. However then your view will be towards apartments. Breakfast was also perfect

The location and the hotel itself is great. Breakfast was nice and the overall stay was really good.

Not all rooms have a bath tub which you would assume looking at the picture and the description. It is important to specifically request it if you like to have one. Also there is a bar close by which is a bit noisy till late at night.

Great location, excellent room.. All was very clean and comfortable.. The hotel handled our special request perfectly. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has everything. Really happy to stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly located, not far from the center and close to the Aare river. I enjoyed every moment and the bed was one of the best I ever had in hotels! The Zollhuus Restaurant is a must.

Spotlessly clean and perfect location

Smooth check-in and check-out, friendly staff who accommodated my request. Good breakfast options. Just a few steps away from the old town with lots of restaurants, bars, shops. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel for a bus to the train station. Immaculate room, great WIFI. I would stay here again when in Aargau.

My room on the 3rd floor had a tiny window that could open and practically no view.

Frühstück klein, aber das Vorhandene sehr lecker. Die Lage und die Frau an der Rezeption top (super Kommunikation). Habe mich als Alleinreisende sehr wohl gefühlt :).

Gefehlt hat mir eine Winterdecke. Bin morgens frierend aufgewacht.

Mittelmässig

Die Lage war super für unsere Bedürfnisse. Das Zimmer war schön und das Bett sehr bequem.

Ich habe für zwei Personen ein Zimmer in Ihrem Hotel gebucht und auch den vollen Preis gezahlt. Leider waren im Zimmer nur Handtücher und Bettbezüge sowie ein Duvet für eine Person vorbereitet. Da wir erst spät zurückkamen und bei Bezug des Zimmers nur unsere Koffer abgestellt haben, ist uns dies erst beim Zubettgehen aufgefallen. Die Rezeption war um 1 Uhr nachts leider nicht mehr besetzt, sodass ich den Mangel nicht melden konnte. Erst am nächsten Morgen sprach ich die Dame an der Rezeption darauf an. Statt einer kulanten Lösung wurde mir lediglich mitgeteilt, dass ich den Mangel hätte melden müssen, dann hätte ich eine zusätzliche Decke erhalten. Im System waren jedoch zwei Personen aufgeführt. Das Frühstück war zwar nicht schlecht, entsprach aber auch nicht dem Standard, den ich erwartet hatte.
