Cozy, clean, relaxing, safe home

great communication, great place, fair price.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay for our trip to Colorado. The beds were very comfortable. The back deck provided a perfect opportunity to enjoy our morning coffee and relax. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us.

Cute house in nice neighborhood. Host is quickly responsive. Large master bedroom with big tub. Fully fenced back yard if you bring kids.

Overall, this is a nice property in a very quiet location, but a critical communication failure and a lack of basic maintenance severely impacted our stay.Minor Areas for ImprovementAmenities: The kitchen lacked basic staples (only salt was provided; a few common spices/condiments would be helpful). Additionally, we were only left a single backup toilet paper roll for 2 bathrooms & 4 people.Property Condition: One of the closet doors had a broken handle, which we reported to the host.Major Issue & Safety Concern, Our biggest issue was the front door keyless lock. It was sluggish upon arrival, and by day two, it failed entirely due to dead batteries, locking us out of the house after an event. While we could open the garage, the interior door was locked.We immediately attempted to contact the host directly by phone, but received an automated text response ("Sorry, I can't talk right now"), but despite leaving a voicemail, we never received a follow-up. Fortunately, we had left a bathroom window open. We had to remove the screen and have our child climb through to manually unlock the door from the inside—this was our only way in. Because the host ghosted us, we ended up buying and replacing the keypad batteries out of our own pocket so the next guests would not get stranded and we would have access to the place we rented and expected access to.Due to the total lack of host responsiveness and the safety risk, we will likely not be staying here again.
