The location was excellent. The cleaning crew did a great job. The stone walls added to the decor.
The stairway has a strong scent — not unpleasant but a bit strong.

Ana greeted us and gave us a wonderful introduction to Porto. The breakfast was classy, fresh and served at your table. No miserable buffet - hooray! The room has great character and wonderful views. The hotel was brilliantly position to access the old town.
There was some building work opposite which employed an electronic bird scarer that operated 24/7 which meant we had to keep all the windows closed - not the fault of our hotel.

Exceptional breakfast and morning staff!
At night, there were lights in the stairway but it was still dark.
