Well received by our host Antonio who has been extremely welcoming despite our late arrival, offered plenty of tips and info about the city. (Grazzie mile Antonio! by the way we did try most of the restaurants address you gave to us and were pleased with them) Apartment was clean with a surprising scheme, and quite comfortable. Air conditioning work pretty well despite the high ceiling in the living room. Beds were comfy, although we didn't spend much time in the rooms, and plenty of space and storage even if you stay a long time. The location is awesome. 10min walking away from the centrale station giving you access to almost everything in the region, 15min walking from the historical city, and 30min from the beach. We didn't feel the need to have a car around, especially considering the difficulty to park in Bari. Plenty of shops around, if you are there for shopping you'll more likely find what you want close by.

If you come by car you may experience difficulties to find a parking space around. If you want a quiet place, don't forget you're in the city, and hence can be noisy at time (traffic, renovation work, or just loud tourists). If you're used to massive malls or supermarkets there are no close by. For us it was not really a problem already used to such environment.

Apparemment is huge

Pobyt był bardzo udany. Zarezerwowany apartament był przestronny, wygodny i dobrze wyposażony. Składał się z trzech dużych pokoi, łazienki oraz dodatkowej toalety, co zapewniało wysoki komfort wszystkim gościom. Każdy miał wystarczająco dużo miejsca dla siebie, a układ pomieszczeń był bardzo funkcjonalny. Dużym plusem było bogate wyposażenie apartamentu. Dla każdego gościa przygotowano ręczniki, a w łazience dostępne były żel pod prysznic oraz szampon. Dodatkowym atutem była suszarka do włosów, zestaw do prasowania oraz kompleksowo wyposażona kuchnia, w której znajdowało się wszystko, co potrzebne do przygotowywania posiłków. Apartament spełnił nasze oczekiwania i chętnie skorzystalibyśmy z tej oferty ponownie. Zdecydowanie polecamy to miejsce

Location is close to ideal. You are 5 minutes’ walk from the train station, from the seafront and from the old town. The apartment is as HUGE as advertised. There are two separate bedrooms, two toilets, a kitchen, a laundry, a foyer and a TV/lounge room with small balcony. The landlord has hung lots of interesting art works which adds to the charm. I appreciated the iron and ironing board as well as the functional kitchen with spices etc. left over from previous guests. The Wi-Fi is the fastest I have ever experience. Page loads were almost instant. Watching a movie it did not buffer at all.

But…the TV was old, with hardly any channels (most were not connected) and the remote was almost useless because of dead batteries. Good residences have a smart TV with YT etc. The air-con did not work. One of them blows air, but not cold air. The other one, did not start at all. The two single beds are both about 75cm wide. You almost fall off. The sheets are even smaller and keep slipping off the mattress. And the pillows are the cheapest possible. Way too soft. This is unforgiveable. Landlord: spend a few thousand euros on good beds and linen. You are in the business of providing somewhere for people to sleep. So overall, I cannot recommend this place until it is upgraded with TV, aircon and bedding. It will then be well worth the money.
