Barra's Beach Apartment

The location had easy access to the beach. The balconies with shade were a nice hangout space. The place was clean, and the appliances in the kitchen were updated. The couch was nice and the decorations were cute. Beach accessories were available to use. The beds were comfortable. Owners were really responsive via text or call.

Booking.com advertised that the property had wifi throughout, which was not true at all. We were stuck there without it. We had to buy a dongle for one week, It was incredibly inconvenient. To the owners credit, they tried to offer us an extra night. However, we would have liked some sort of discount or a night refunded instead. As we booked the apartment for the nights we needed, we did not have any additional nights to spend in Portugal. The iron was so old and leaked so much water! The ironing board was rusted through, and we ruined a pair of pants trying to use them. The excessive use of moth balls made the place quite smelly. It was clean but smelled musty. Even with the open windows, we could not get rid of it. We bought sprays that helped, but it was never completely gone. The bathroom is small but nice. The toilet seat was really loose, we had children with us, and they had a lot of trouble using it.

El apartamento estaba sucio. Humedad en la habitacion de dos camas,las cortinas sucias los armarios no pudimos usarlos pues contenían un tremendo olor a humedad y a cerrado,los cristales sucios.Las sábanas parecían de papel de las veces que se habían lavado.Menaje escaso en la Mobiliario viejo y puertas mugrientas. En resumen lo encontramos insalubre. El anfitrión nada comunicativo ni facilitador ,le trasladamos nuestra decepción y declinó responsabilidades,diciendo que el era solo el gerente,lo que puso en evidencia su poca profesionalidad y resolución.
