B&B Albaro

Great location. Easy walk to the ocean. The apartment was spacious and generally clean overall, including the sheets and towels.

The mould in the shower and on the shower curtain. The shower drain was blocked and overflowed the shower recess quickly. The drain was extremely slow to drain, but it did eventually drain. There were spider webs and dust around the internal air-conditioning unit.

Great property. It ticked every box. Great value. Great communication. Super breakfast. Very very lovely bedroom with a cute balcony. Absolutely everything you want. Great location. Secure parking and reasonable cost. Close to the sea. Very Nice neighbourhood.

It was all good

My cousin and I were visiting Genoa but did not want to stay in the center of the city. This place, a short bus ride from the center of town and a short walk to Boccadasse along the water fit what we wanted to a T. Though we checked ourselves in (more and more the case in Italy), and some of the directions seemed confusing, once we were in, it was a comfortable spot from which to explore all of the wonders of Genoa. We did get to meet Francesca (the owner) before we left, and she was delightful. It was the wonderful Cassandra who took care of us daily at the B&B bringing an incredible spread of fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, focaccia, meats, cereal, etc. for our breakfast. She was friendly and accommodating to our different needs (early breakfast before a cooking class we had signed up for, e.g.) The parking, once we found it, was easy to navigate. And the rooms, were very comfortable. There were only two that we saw (on our floor), so we had it private to us since we had booked two rooms. We would return in a heartbeat!
