My stay was absolutely wonderful!
The property was well kept and a great location. A walk to the beach and a quick drive to the attractions of Galveston. It was nice and quiet.
It was a little older and needs some updates. For example, one of the door knobs rusted off on the deck.

Fantastic little beach house :)
This was a wonderful property for our family. Plenty of room, comfy beds, a lovely deck, a nice kitchen, very clean, and very close to the beach! In my mom's words, this place is "thoughtfully appointed" and we all enjoyed our stay, whether we were lounging together in the main room, enjoying homemade meals, playing games, or taking a short walk to the beach. We will definitely consider this unit for future trips.
There was a bad storm and water came in through the windows and the power went out (no big deal, this stuff happens). I notified the Vacasa agent via text as requested and let them know and they said they'd follow up, but never did. We cleaned the water up ourselves and the power was restored after about 2 hours, but I was frustrated that they never texted back to check in or came to assess the damage.

Amazing little getaway by the beach!
The space, cleanliness, and how close it was to the beach.
The a/c only went to 68 and it was hot out but I am a very hot person so do with that as you will wish.
