Highly recommended hotel.

We had a wonderful stay in that family hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated with warm smiles and excellent customer service. Owners are friendly and trying their best to make their guests to feel comfortable. Our room was spacious and clean with all the amenties we needed, daily cleaning and changing towels,comfortable mattresses. Tasty breakfast served with honest smile and positive vibes) Overall we had amazing experience in that hotel and yes, we would recommend this hotel to stay in.

Restful, comfortable stay, would prefer it again in the future.

Quiet place, good sleep, comfortable rooms, private parking, good communication, daily cleaning of the rooms.

It could have a bigger TV (had one at about-22 inch). Breakfast was very good but it could have a little bit more variety (cornflakes with milk for example), also breakfast was served 8.00-9.30, which for us wasn't much an issue, but I understand someone would like to sleep until 10.00 at their vacations.

A great experience in every way!

Very clean, everything was working well in the room, the breakfast was great and the owners are pleasant and really provide a personal touch. The owner saw I always ate all the nutella for breakfast and gave me more the next day and I didn’t even ask. Part of the parking has natural shade from the trees which is also great! All in all a great experience.

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Istira Hotel - a hidden gem in Possidi.

From the moment we arrived at Istira Hotel in Possidi, we knew we had found something special. We were warmly welcomed and checked in well before the official time – a thoughtful start to our stay. Our spotless first-floor room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and air conditioning, and had a calming balcony view over a serene grove – worth the short 500m walk to the beach. We booked breakfast and dinner, and both exceeded expectations. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, while dinners were the highlight: perfectly grilled fresh fish, delicious stuffed peppers, tender venison with golden potatoes, plus Greek salad and unforgettable filo-wrapped cheese. Desserts were unique and creative every night, from candied orange slices to homemade treats. The hospitality was exceptional – the host guided us to the best beaches in Halkidiki, including the breathtaking Possidi Cape, and recommended fantastic local bars and restaurants. On my birthday, the staff surprised me with a song and celebration, making it truly unforgettable. Possidi has completely stolen my heart – and Istira Hotel made our trip perfect. From the warm welcome to the mouthwatering food, spotless rooms, and genuine Greek hospitality, everything was flawless. We will definitely return.

Best stay in Greece

This is the most amazing place to stay! Nice, clean, green, perfect place to relax. The room is fully equipped with everything you need for a great stay. It gets cleaned every day, and the fluffy towels are changed. The hosts - Babis and his family are just perfect in any possible way - kind, helpful, and very nice people. They had saved dinner for us even though we arrived later in the evening and when leaving found the right people to help us with a car problem. The home prepared food was perfect, the breakfast and the dinner quite impressive in quantity and very tasty variety. The property is very close to the beach, there are also many nice beaches around at just 10 min drive. We have visited many places in Greece ans this is by far the best combination of location, property and welcoming hosts!

Absolutely amazing experience

The place was easy to find. Our hosts were waiting for us to hand over the keys. They were super friendly and welcoming. I had booked a double room and upon arrival there we were provided an upgraded room free of charge. It was really surprising and made us super happy. The room was pristine clean (especially the towels). Mrs. Sofia did the great work with them. The staff provided us with the recommendations on where we could go for a swim. The breakfast was great including both salty and sweet options. Host’s mom makes the tastiest jams (we’ve tried orange 😍 and apricot ones). I was even interested in buying the orange one, but they didn’t sell it unfortunately. From the hotel you can easily go to different areas of Kassandra. We chose the beach that was 5 mins drive from the place and Fourka. Both of them were really nice but we enjoyed the Posseidi beach more as the water was super clean and cool. The day when we were leaving the hosts surprised us with the small gifts (the jar of orange jam and the bottle of homemade liquor). If we decide to go back to Halkidiki, we will definitely choose Istira hotel as for this money you get a clean room with all facilities and absolutely amazing staff taking care of you and your needs. This is where you can actually see and feel the Greek hospitality.

Great place to stay in Possidi

This is a family-run hotel that offers outstanding service. All the staff working there are smiling and very polite. They really care that the guests will enjoy their vacation at 100 % at their hotel. Regarding the food, the breakfast was tasty and enough. The dinner was also great and enough. It was homemade and different every day and really delicious. The apartment was cleaned every day and towels also changed every day. Linens were changed every other day. It is not located on the beach, but on a walking distance from it. The supermarket is also very close. All the rooms and the apartments have mosquito nets and hotel has an elevator. Enough space to park your car in front of the place.

Perfect stay

I'm well aware of Greek hospitality but everyone at Istira exceeded our expectations. We arrived early but our room was ready. I was pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a much bigger room than the one booked. The hosts were very nice. Rooms were cleaned daily. Plenty of parking spaces. Beach is 10 minutes walking. We even got home made gifts before leaving.

Hosts are very kind and hospitable. The communication before our arrival was smooth. The hotel is close to the beach and many restaurants. The room was very clean and the towels were changed everyday. Breakfast was more than enough, includes local pastries, fruits, bread etc.

The only drawback was that the hotel is on the main road and in the beginning it was noisy.

In my opinion, this family owned hotel is located in the nicest area of the peninsula (Possidi west beach is the largest beach I've seen in Kassandra and the sunsets here are amazing). Supermarket in the area. Nearby restaurant (Poseidon) is very good. The owner is helpful and very responsive. Big free parking. The room is comfortable and very clean (cleaning and towels changing are done daily), breakfast is good.

- a light bulb in the shower would be necessary - the wifi connection could be improved - breakfast buffet would be ideal, because you get tired of the same breakfast 6 days in a row and you feel the need to vary or to choose for yourself what and how much you eat; anyway, even so, the breakfast was good and enough

Wonderfull stay at a friendly family run hotel

The best part of staying at Istira is the family that owns and runs it. All so friendly and helpful, and you feel welcome from the minute you walk in. The room was nice, well equipped and with its own terrace in front. The breakfast was amazing (way too much!). The location is good, you can wasily walk to the beach and good restaurants are nearby. Easy parking on premises, short drive from a super market and beautiful beaches. Highlight of our trip!

Amazing stay

The location is beautiful, the host is an amazingly hospitable one, they are a lovely family, very helpful, always with a smile on their face. The room was comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and very consistent. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we are sure to go back next year, as it is one of the best hotels we have ever been to. We highly recommend it.
