It’s all about that space: Ulu Hotel has very spacious rooms, which is incredibly rare in Tokyo. There is a washing machine, kitchen and dining area. It’s like an apartment room/vrbo/airbnb. Rates are excellent for what you’re getting and it’s in a quieter part of Tokyo. Perfect for a family with young kids.

Very large main room ,especially for Japanese standards! And the staff were very nice and helpful! Only things that weren’t great: bath tub water was computer controlled and it would turn on the water spontaneously, even though we never used it; hotel location was 13 or so minute walk to nearest train station, (was a tiring trek with many luggages); not many places to eat or sight-see that were close by; tiny elevator and the door kept shutting closed on us even when we weren’t completely inside yet.
But aside from aforementioned things, would definitely recommend this place.
