I had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Edgware Cabana in Nuwara Eliya. The beautiful rose garden creates a lovely first impression, and the King Cabana Villa is spacious, clean, comfortable, and tastefully designed. A special thank you to Mr. Kishor, who made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. He even served homemade butter cake and tea upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, making my stay truly enjoyable. I would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Nuwara Eliya.

There are a few small areas that could be improved. The coffee-making facilities are located on the first floor, but there are no convenient wall switches nearby, while the ground floor has no kettle or coffee maker, making it slightly inconvenient. There are also limited power sockets near the bed on the ground floor for charging mobile phones. The bed is not comfortable and makes lots of noise when we turn/move while sleeping. Lastly, the main entrance door locking system could be improved, as it feels more like an office glass door than the entrance to a private villa. These are minor observations and did not significantly affect my overall experience.

We had an incredible stay at the Edgware Cabana. The villa is spacious, beautifully decorated - like out of a designer magazine- and felt so luxurious for the two of us. The highlight was definitely the stunning bathtub on a pedestal with a view..such a treat! Having breakfast served in the privacy of our cabana each morning was perfect. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Great value for money and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommended!

Because the people were super friendly and the food was mostly super tasty, we are bringing the score up to a 5. Also they gave a small discount because there was quite a bit of water leaking in from the windows/doors. The tv's were very nice.

If you expect to be able to sleep here, perhaps think carefully about booking. We were sceptical of previous reviews, saying that the wind was bad, but we spent two nights with little to no sleep (we did have lots of rain and wind according to them). One of us even ended up trying to sleep on the sofa downstairs. The wind is very loud, and at times, it felt like the building was being shaken. They do offer ear plugs, but these are not really something we want to have to wear while sleeping, and they did very little against the noise. We ordered curry and rice both nights, as the first night was great. The second night we asked for something a little different (as in a different vegetarian curry) but we ended up with pretty much the same except one or the dishes we had for breakfast and another from the night before but just with some kind of slimey cheese sauce. Also, Christmas decoration is not something we're looking for in Sri Lanka in July, but that might just be our taste.
