The Old Tannery

Fantastic location and the cosiest cottage. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. The bath was pure luxury.

Being disabled and relying on public transport, it would have been good to have somewhere to leave luggage while we waited for the 4pm check in. Luckily, we found a pub not too far away where we could sit and wait for a few hours. An ant- slip mat would be helpful. I fell in the shower the first night and couldn't use it again.

Location, garden and view, new barbecue. Very comfortable and spacious - a great place to relax in after exploring.

Parking near to the property can be challenging.

Well appointed cottage with a modern vibe. Comfortable beds, lovely walk in shower and deep bath. Lovely, enclosed totally private garden with elevated bbq area, lawn with shrub borders and a paved patio area along the side of the cottage with table and chairs so plenty of options for sitting outside. Very close to Beaumaris centre, only a few minutes walk but despite this, the cottage was very peaceful and quiet.

The deep coloured decor made the cottage quite dark, especially as the windows were small but this is a minor problem and didn't spoil the stay in any way.

The cottage is stunning; secluded, peaceful and ideal for a romantic getaway or a quiet retreat. The area of Beaumaris is gorgeous and makes for a perfect base to get around the Isle of Anglesey to see the South Stack, Holyhead, Rhosneigr, Llanfairpwll... The kitchen is incredible and has every amenity you could ask for. The beds are comfortable and the garden is gorgeous if you have some nice weather to enjoy it! The bathroom is lovely (the TV in the bath is a wonderful touch!) And the shower is nice and strong.

The sofa wasn't very comfortable. The cushions move alot and you feel like you're falling off of it somewhat. Not a fan of the square toilet (personal preference) and for me the pillows were too soft (again personal preference).
