I usually go to Budapest for concerts and running. Unfortunately, the running is almost over, and so far this year I've only found one concert I want to go to. So I checked in again at my "home" in Budapest, where I met up with my dear people, led by Anna!

The location is a bit far from the city center, but it is next to a large and pleasant park. The building has a charming Baroque style and a classic atmosphere. Despite its age, the facilities have been good maintained. Staff very supportive.
Bed could be more comfortable, but for short stay it's ok.

It was all about Hans the German night porter and Jackson the day cleaner , both really really helpful gentleman , the hostel was extremely clean for my standards , the receptionist girl kindly checked me in early at 10.30 am 🙏🙏🙏 great kitchen , extremely close to the Kelleti railway station , only one night but would of stayed longer in my room iff possible .
Well I'm 65 years old , I found it a little noisy at times , wooden flooring and I could hear people's conversations from my dormitory , but to most young people these minor things should not be a problem , I thank them for the early check-in as I was on a bus from Eastern Romania , so early check-in was a gift from god .

It is a neat place to stay for a few days, the lounge area is spacious and tidy. It is in a neighbourhood that is not too busy and you can get into the city center quickly with metro line 1. There are 3 good quality restaurants in the vicinity, on the same street.
During the first night there was a large group of young women staying in the hostel and they were up late, so it was rather noisy with people walking around, talking and laughing until at least 1 AM. The dorm I was staying in was close to the reception area, so I heard all the noises.
