Reef Oasis Beach Aqua Park Resort

1. Amazing food. There was always a lot of variety at the main restaurant "CEBUN" and the other A la Carte restaurants were also very good. Special shoutout to the Kababji Restaurant (which requires prior reservation but is included in all inclusive stay). It offered one of the best grills I ever had. And the Mahraja Restaurant was also great and has an exceptional view on the beach, and you also have a direct view on Farsha coffee and it's night lights while having a nice dinner. 2. Exceptional beach. I had so much fun swimming and snorkling. This resort has an incredible coral reefs and fish varieties right on their beach. You just need to walk on the jetty and you're there. So if you don't like taking a crowded tour to Ras Mohamed for snorkling, I'd suggest to stay at the hotel and snorkle and dive all you want. 3. Animation: The animation team was great, daily night shows and music at the garden bar, I got to see this great Michael Jackson impersonator show which was fun. There are also beach games and snacks. You can also hit the aqua park which has some nice games (espcially the cobra). But it only opens from 10 to 12 and then from 2 to 6 PM. 4. Staff: Everyone was super helpful, very nice and listening. You get a free airport shuttle too.

I hope they would renovate the room which are a bit dated

Everything was perfect

We had a fantastic stay at Reef Oasis Beach Aqua Park Resort, and it exceeded our expectations in many ways. We would happily return and highly recommend it, especially to families. Before booking, I spent a lot of time reading reviews on Tripadvisor and Booking.com, and I was honestly a little concerned about the rooms. Before our arrival, I emailed the resort requesting two rooms close together because we were travelling with young children. I also asked if it would be possible to have updated rooms close to the beach and the main facilities. The resort replied that they would do their best, subject to availability. To our surprise, they delivered on every request. Our rooms were next to each other, conveniently located and very comfortable. We also had beautiful pool views and slight sea views from the balcony, which made the rooms feel even more special. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, very smart and much more impressive in reality than in the photos. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, from the landscaped gardens to the pathways and public areas. The pools were crystal clean every day, and the whole resort had a peaceful, well-kept feel. I was worried about managing the July heat, but it was much better than expected. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, the heat is bearable in the shade, and the water feels lovely in the heat. There is also an open ferry on wheels that takes guests around the resort, which is very helpful because it can be hot to walk long distances in July. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible house reef. Being able to walk straight from the beach into the sea and snorkel among colourful fish and coral was unforgettable. We spent hours in the water and never got tired of it. The all-inclusive package offered excellent value. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, burgers, pizzas, snacks and drinks by the beach were all included. We especially enjoyed the Maharaja and Kababgy restaurants.

There were only a few things we felt could be improved. During the summer, the beach, pools and aqua park all closed at 6:30 pm, even though sunset was around 8:00 pm. It would have been lovely to use the facilities for longer during the cooler evening hours. The aqua park also closed daily between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm, which felt unnecessary, especially during the hottest part of the day. As a tennis-playing family, we were excited to see that the resort has beautiful clay tennis courts with floodlights. Unfortunately, the courts were only open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm during the Egyptian summer. Playing during those hours in extreme heat was not practical or enjoyable. It would make much more sense to open the courts early in the morning or in the evening, especially since they have floodlights. The televisions in both of our rooms did not work well during our stay. As we were visiting during the FIFA World Cup, this was disappointing. We reported the issue to Reception, and two technicians came to our room at midnight while we were sleeping. Unfortunately, the problem was not resolved, and nobody returned to follow up. We ended up watching the matches on the big screen at the Piazza instead. The beach activities could also be improved. The animation team was friendly, but the activities felt quite limited, and the Zumba session was too short. It would be lovely to have more fun family activities such as treasure hunts, bingo, swimming competitions and small prizes to make the beach area feel even more lively and engaging. We would have liked to go to Ras Mohammed for a day trip and perhaps the hotel reception should recommend this option at check-in.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The staff is really polite and the food is good. The location is perfect, especially because the sandy beach and everything you need are just a short walk away. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially families with kids. Big thanks to the hotel staff for making us feel so welcome and a special thanks to Khalid for all his help during our stay!

This was our second time staying here, and it’s pretty clear that some parts of the hotel need a bit of renovation. A few things are starting to look pretty worn out—specifically the toilets by the restaurants and beach, as well as the furniture in some of the rooms and public areas. Also, the water park was just okay; I’d say it’s really only fun for little kids.
