Beautiful gardens , cozy living rooms and dining area and overall setting is very relaxing. staff is (mostly) friendly and helpful and breakfast has a good selection.
the rooms are VERY dated -especially the smaller ones- and need renovation (broken drawers, dates/worn out bed covers and rugs…destroyed tennis court, old plastic chairs from the 90s by the pool). Also no air conditioning so if the day is warm it can get very stuffy in the rooms. it is a shame as the property is beautiful and has huge potential.
We did ask to be moved rooms as one of them had broken furniture etc and while the staff did take
care of it immediately the first reaction was “you also booked the small, cheapest room” - which however should not mean broken furniture or worn out and dirty duvet and no toilet paper.
