Le kota des 3 tilleuls

Philippe was an excellent host! We arrived after a 22km hike on the Via Francigena on a hot sunny day with tired hot feet and the 1st thing he offered us was a cold beer! Philippe and his wife built a Kota…basically a Finnish style hunting lodge/shelter in their large back yard. It is quite an amazing lodge, impeccably furnished and perfect for two. He made a very satisfying dinner for two hungry walkers and when we asked if he had any wine, he just smiled and offered an excellent French vintage. The next morning after a very delicious and satisfying breakfast, he arranged for a taxi to transport us to Besançon as the next several stages on the VF were quite long and lacking any pilgrim hospitality. A highlight of our journey for sure!

Excellent petit-déjeuner classique avec du pain et des viennoiseries frais avec yahourt, compote et jus d'orange. Nous avions à notre disposition dans la chambre du café (appareil Nespresso), du lait, du chocolat et autre thé.

Rien de particulier

Séjour exceptionnel dans un logement original privatif au milieu d’un vaste jardin. C’est beau, hyper confortable, tranquille et cosy. L’accueil est bienveillant et chaleureux. Notre hôte passionné et concerné par notre bien-être apporte lui-même le petit-déjeuner sur un plateau! Allez-y les yeux fermés ‘

Rien, tout était parfait

The air conditioning on a very hot day was so good! The cabin was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The host kindly provided us with a great dinner (as we were hiking we weren’t up to finding a restaurant or supermarket that day) and breakfast. A lovely evening.
