Sehr herzlicher Empfang mit Tee und Gebäck - Jacques reparierte spontan auch meine kaputten Geldbeutel. Total nette und informative Führung durch das historische Riad, das laut des Gastgebers Bezug zur Königsfamilie hat. Einzigartig, authentisch, ruhig - bestes Panorama mit kilometerweiter Sicht. Wunderschöne und einzigartig bepflanzte Dachterrasse im Herzen der Medina und mit sehr vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Terrasse lädt sehr zum Verweilen und zum Entspannen ein. Man möchte gerne länger auf dem Rooftop verweilen und deswegen bleiben.

Beautiful huuuuge rooftop terrace (the biggest I’ve ever seen in Morocco); central location and great hospitality by the local owners. I wish I could’ve has my breakfast on the rooftop instead of down in the rather cold and dark living room without windows.

I was the only guest and the atmosphere was a bit odd, it’s a huge house with many rooms which were all empty and dark and the house smells a bit bad, it could really use some fresh air from outside. But since it’s so deep in the medina most rooms don’t have windows which explains the smell and darkness. The breakfast was ok but nothing compared to all my other stays where you get fresh eggs etc. Also I was disappointed to find out that the whole city of Meknes is full of construction works, so there wasn’t much to see. I left after one night.
