Riad Zyna

Really our favourite hotel we have ever stayed at. From the welcome, the decor, the early check in, and the beautiful room, we couldn't have hoped for more. The staff, Duae, Mahdi and Nedia were just the best. They looked after everything for us. We loved it so much that we cancelled our last night in Fez and booked another night here. If I could give it 11/10 I would.

It was 45C outside. After taking care of absolutely everything for us, surely the staff could control the heatwave too haha. Everything was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing...

The riad was beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The breakfast was fresh and delicious.😋

The property looked really nice, like on the pics, lots of light, one of the reasons I booked it. Unfortunately, it was under construction and I was not able to stay there.

They informed me just a few hours before my arrival that I won’t be able to stay at the riad and they would accommodate me at their sister property, mentioning an emergency problem, but clearly, they were still in the middle of doing construction work when I arrived to meet someone to bring me to the other riad. It took quite some time for Halim to arrive and he made the new riad sound like a much better deal. When we arrived at the other place, it was at first very disappointing, much darker, still very beautiful, but not what I had booked. The disappointing part of all this was that I was not informed in a timely manner. I could have maybe changed my travel plans if I had known beforehand. I also checked on booking.com and they were still accepting reservations whereas they clearly were not able to accommodate anyone. This is not ok in my opinion. After a nice plate of couscous I felt much better and in the end the stay at the other riad was quite great, but the way it was handled was not ok.
