Hotel Chavalatsch

Sehr schöne Lage, gutes Restaurant, sauberes Zimmer, Personal war sehr freundlich

We were thoroughly impressed with this small, quaint hotel! It exceeded our expectations, and we are hotel snobs. Parking was readily available and free; our large van fit well. The hotel was cute and attractive inside and out. It was clean, comfortable, unique, and the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Had we gotten there early enough, we would have tried dinner there, as well. We arrived later than anticipated due to being delayed on a mountain pass by a hail storm. I feel certain it would have been lovely if breakfast was any indication. When I called to let them know of my late arrival, I spoke to several different staff as they we had a bit of trouble communicating. They were all so friendly in what could have been a frustrating situation! I finally got across that I was running late, and they assured me that was no problem. A very nice lady was still there to check us in when we arrived. Our rooms were nicely furnished and decorated. I loved the large windows that opened for the night. The next door church with bells that rang throughout the night might be an annoyance to some, but we loved hearing them. They WERE loud with the windows open, but still - we love hearing clock bells! Some of us enjoyed walking around Santa Maria the next day while part of our group hiked a long trail. I really think this was my favorite area of Switzerland, and I would have loved to have had more time here. But, we had to move along to Italy...!

Die Chefin und alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

camera molto spaziosa, bella vista dalla camera, colazione ottima ed abbondante, con prodotti locali

Le tende alle finestre non erano abbastanza oscuranti, le mosche (ma è normale in un paese di montagna con i prati e le mucche nelle vicinanze).
