Absolutely perfect

This hotel has exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. There is parking place in front of the hotel entrance. The environment and nature are beautiful & peaceful. We were already on the road for a week when we reached Val Müstair and felt like being at home in Chavalatsch. Breakfast was also great quality and more than enough. Very good price-quality ratio. We will definitely return once into this area.

Lovely and quiet stay in Mustair

The hotel is 3 mins away from the bus station. The breakfast was great and our hosts were so nice and helped us any time we had a question or needed something. The beds were comfortable and it was really quiet and peaceful.

great location for exploring Val Mustair and exploring the mountains. The valley is well connected by bus. Mustair has multiple cafes and restaurants. the hotel restaurant served a variety of Swiss and seasonal dishes - highly recommended. cosy restaurant frequented by locals, good atmosphere. good quality breakfast. good Wi-Fi and lots of free parking.

Great place to stay within a stone's throw of Italy.

Very friendly staff, and truly dog-friendly. Nice breakfast. Intriguing position a stone's throw from the Swiss-Italian border (you can walk to Italy!). Nice desk to work at. Good WiFi.

I couldn't darken my room, I was disturbed by church bells ringing for service at 6 a.m. (on a Sunday), and a new compromise between a duvet ideal for winter and a summer-weight one should be found.

very enjoyable and would recons d to anyone

very convenient for my trip to the stelvio pass. lovely setting in a small quiet town. food was lovely and the staff could not do enough fir me even though I struggled with the language they where very tolerant and treat me no different to anyone else.

Great stopover in Müstair

Very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast. There was even a lockable room for our bicycles. We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Chavalatsch. Thank you!

Nostalgisches Hotel mit gemütlicher Gaststube

Das Personal war sehr nett und das Frühstück gut. In der Schweiz ist es ja nicht immer ganz einfach ein Restaurant zu akzeptablen Preisen zu finden. Wir waren auf einer MTB-Alpenüberquerung unterwegs und bevorzugten Unterkünfte mit Restaurant um gemütlich ohne großen Aufwand ein Abendessen zu bekommen. Das im Hotel befindliche Restaurant bot guten Service und gute Gerichte, das Tagesmenü für 25,- Franken an, außerdem hatten wir viel Glück, denn es war Dienstag und an diesem Tag haben die meisten Lokale Ruhetag. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht. Das Hotel ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber auch urig und gemütlich

Das Zimmer ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und eine Modernisierung wäre gut.

Camera grande, spaziosa e pulitissima; idem per il bagno. Personale cordiale e disponibile, parla sia tedesco che italiano. Ristorante al piano terra, buono. Ideale per una sosta mentre si visita la val Monastero o la Venosta. Ho chiesto di poter lasciare la moto al coperto e mi è stato reso disponibile un piccolo garage. I cicloturisti possono godere di un garage dedicato a loro.
