A historic hotel with real character at an affordable price.

Historic means basic features by modern standards, such as no ensuite.

After a rainy day, being offered a room upgrade was very nice. Excellent dinner and breakfast

Place was gorgeous. Located in between to mountains with numerous amounts of views to see. Lots of hiking trails nearby aswell.

The only downside staff members were not very nice to us (we are American not sure if thats the reason). Overall very nice stay but be prepared.

Even though the bathrooms were shared, the water was hot and the bathrooms were clean.

I think it was a little overpriced for what you get - a tiny cramped room with old green carpeting, thin walls and a shared bathroom. No art on the walls. Just a plain old room. We could hear the people in the room next door just walking around on the creaky floors and they woke us up because it sounded like they were in our room. The location is down the hill from the rest of town so it’s a bit secluded (neither good or bad). The female owner was very nice but the father and son were very curt and didn’t seem very hospitable.
