    Second day in Japan experience not welcome guest attitude from the front counter staff. The staff since like have bias for non Japanese to stay and the impression can tell is impatient when deal with our check in procedures.

    Having 3 nights stay at this place and I would recommend this place to anyone who looking for spacious, clean and comfortable places in Kyoto. I stayed in double bed suite with terrace. There’s complete kitchenette suitable for cooking, refrigerator, microwave, iron, TV, hot water, washing machine, heater, hair dryer, air purifier, large bathtub, extra tatami and blanket, and of course super comfort bed. The best point of this place is that it is so spacious , even I can open my 2 bulky luggages on the floor and still feel not cramped at all. I also can do prayer on the empty space next to dining table. At the night you can put tatami bedding on that space so the room actually can accommodate 5 people. Location is good though you should walk few minutes walk from nearby bus stop (shijo horikawa). Receptionist only on duty from 2 - 11 pm. But there’s amenities and pajamas available at the lobby so you can get them by yourself. Laundry machine is on 3rd floor, can paid by yen in affordable price. But if you stay in suite room, washing machine is provided in the bathroom can use without paying extra cost. There’s phone at the lobby and its free, so useful when I need to make reservation at pediatric clinic. Staff also nice and helpful, and they’re always fast response to my concerns via email. Overall very pleasant experience and surely I will stay there again if I visit Kyoto.

    I booked a room for 2 adult and 1 child. When I reached there, I was informed the room booked is for max 2 adult only and I need to top up for bigger capacity. The room for first night is ok. The room at fourth floor is very cold as the toilet is just next to balcony. The wind keep coming in. The warmer also not function. I feel very cold for the second night. Hopes the management can improve the room for better experience.
