    If you need a night stay in the city center it does the job. By now the hotel pretty much run down. Obviously it is loud since it is in the heart of Budapest.

    Unfortunately, my experience at Ramada Budapest was extremely disappointing. The hotel appeared severely understaffed, with only one person on duty during key times. There was no assistance with luggage, which was unexpected and inconvenient. The rooms were small, dark, and far from what I anticipated. The towels had an unpleasant smell, raising concerns about overall housekeeping standards. What was most alarming, however, was the food service. Meals from the rooftop restaurant were transported through the guest elevators in the open air, without proper protection. During one delivery, I witnessed a waiter drop a piece of bread on the floor and then place it back onto the plate before serving it. This was shocking and completely unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. Between the lack of service, poor room quality, and concerning food-handling practices, this is not a hotel I would return to or recommend. Truly—never again.

    Unfortunately, I had a second booking at this property, and the same issue happened again. The air conditioning simply did not work, and once again the staff didn’t care in the slightest. They told me they “can’t open the air conditioning” and offered no real help. I contacted Agoda, and they said they would reach out to the hotel. The hotel didn’t even bother responding. Agoda told me to wait 48 hours, which is more than half of my stay, and still nothing was resolved. After I checked out, Agoda got a reply from the hotel, and the hotel claimed there was “a remote control for the AC.” There was no remote to open the AC or cool down the temperature. There was absolutely nothing to operate any cooling. This was simply not true. On top of that, the housekeeping was terrible. The room wasn’t even cleaned properly on the second day, and somehow the bathroom foot towel ended up on my bed. Completely unacceptable for a property claiming 4 stars. I didn’t receive any apology and no explanation for any of these issues. Don’t believe everything this property is listing. This was one of the most frustrating, disappointing, and misleading hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I absolutely do not recommend staying here.
