Whether exploring the island on the nearby multi-use path or spending your days splashing in the surf on the sugar sand beaches just across the street, you can’t beat the location at Island Charm.
The exterior of this vacation home boasts a private fenced pool with plenty of lounge seating, an outdoor shower, fish cleaning area, and a large hot tub for six. For guest convenience, there is also private parking and a laundry room with a washer/dryer on the ground floor.
The stairs lead you to an open-concept living area. The abundance of windows give way to unobstructed Gulf views and make the perfect backdrop for making beach vacation memories that will last a lifetime. The comfortably furnished living room boasts a large TV with cable and DVDs, a sofa, and direct access to the large covered deck. From the deck you will find plentiful seating and unobstructed views of the Gulf beaches and beyond.
The dining area offers two tables for ample seating. There is also a breakfast bar that seats three and looks into the well-equipped kitchen that is open to the rest of the living space. The kitchen features Gulf views from the many windows throughout the living space. On this floor you will also find the bedrooms.
Beach gear credit is included with this home - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs and more.

Second time staying at Island Charm. It’s a nice, comfortable house with lots of amenities. Extra refrigerator downstairs is a plus. Hate to see they’re about to build across the street, we’ve always enjoyed the unobstructed view.

Just returned from Island Charm on 6/25 so I thought I’d share my experience while it’s fresh in my mind.
POSITIVES:
Location of the house has a beautifully unobstructed view of the ocean.
Beach access is easy as there is a walkway very close by.
Plenty of parking room
Large area underneath the house provides ample room for golf cart, bikes, beach gear, etc. A charcoal grill & hot tub are also available in this area.
NEGATIVES:
Washer & dryer located underneath the house by the outdoor shower.
Dishwasher was broken **A rep from Vacasa did notify me the day prior to our arrival to let me know.
Carpet lifting up by sliding glass door exposing tack strip. This was a hazard to our & 10 month old crawling granddaughter.
Living room & master bedroom carpet covered with sand spurs.
Bedroom 3 (bunk bed room) had trash inside closet & sitting beside bed.
Kitchen cabinet had dead cockroach & debris inside.
Tea kettle had sticky residue & hair stuck to the bottom.
Two bath towels had hair wound inside fibers.
Keurig did not work
Vacuum belt broke as soon as it was turned on.
Wi-Fi network name & password provided was incorrect. **We eventually figured out the correct information on our own
Please don’t let the longer list of negatives turn you away from this home. I would stay again but want to be honest about the experience we had. I will say shortly after our arrival I received a text from Vacasa asking me to rate the cleanliness of our home. I expressed my concerns along with picture evidence. A housekeeper did call the next day wanting to schedule a time to reclean. I declined as it would have been inconvenient due to traveling with a dog & infant. A maintenance worker also stopped by with a brand new vacuum & Keurig. He tried fixing the carpet to the best of his ability. It needs to be replaced.
The inside of this home could definitely use some upgrading. The location of the washer & dryer needs to be included in the listing as it is located downstairs by the outdoor shower. There are quite a number of stairs to get down which may create a problem for some while carrying laundry. Vacasa did a good job of addressing &/or fixing our issues. Overall I would recommend this home.
