About this apartment rental

Malasaña is a dynamic area for students with cafés, bakeries and vintage clothing shops. The neighbourhood's gastronomic offer is very complete and varied. We can find numerous classic taverns where you can enjoy a refreshing draught beer accompanied by its usual tapa. The terraces are other protagonists of this area. At night, in modern dance and rock music venues, live bands perform and DJs play. The Conde Duque cultural centre exhibits works of art and screens films outdoors in its eighteenth-century rooms and courtyards. The main shopping hub is located on Fuencarral street. This street, pedestrianised for much of its length, features numerous popular youth and sports fashion brands. Alongside these you can find other establishments specialising in alternative fashion, retro fashion, tattoos, etc. From the apartment it is possible to visit most of Madrid's places of interest on foot: starting a route from Plaza de Callao, you can walk to Puerta del Sol, have a tapa in Plaza Mayor and from there explore the neighbourhoods of La Latina and Las Letras until you reach the Prado Museum. It is the perfect flat for a leisure or business trip.



The Apartment:

In the heart of Malasaña, this apartment is located in the centre of Madrid, less than five minutes from Tribunal and Chueca metro stations. It is a young and modern neighbourhood surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafés.

This apartment is situated on the third floor of a building with a lift, with a capacity of 6 people distributed over 2 floors. The ground floor features a quiet bedroom with windows overlooking the spacious and silent interior courtyard and with a double bed, a complete bathroom with a shower and a bright and welcoming living room with a double sofa bed and a modern and fully equipped American kitchen. On the upper floor is the second bedroom with a comfortable double bed and en-suite bathroom and with access to a beautiful terrace.

The apartment has been refurbished with great taste and with very special decoration with very modern furniture.

This apartment has free WiFi internet, heating and air conditioning in all rooms.

Respect: In order to ensure good cohabitation and respect for neighbours and residents, this apartment is equipped with a 24-hour noise monitoring system. Guests are obliged to comply with the established quiet hours at all times.



IMPORTANT: This apartment is only offered for seasonal rentals, in accordance with article 3 of the Urban Leases Act (LAU). Clients will sign a seasonal rental contract upon arrival.



The check-in process involves mandatory online registration for each guest prior to access to the apartment. The apartment keys will be handed over directly at our offices on Calle Augusto Figueroa 4, ground floor, between 15:00 and 19:00.



In case of arriving after 19:00, remember to call at least 30 minutes in advance to ensure that someone is available to receive you directly at the apartment for key handover.



Online check-in is mandatory in accordance with current regulations and must be carried out through the MitHouse app/webapp. During this process, the MRZ band of each guest's identity document will be read to extract the data required by the authorities. It will be essential to have a mobile device and internet on the phone to access the apartment.



For stays longer than 28 days, a deposit of €1,000 will be required, refundable at the end of the stay if no damage occurs to the accommodation.

Access to the apartment: this apartment is located within the Area called MADRID CENTRAL with restricted access to vehicular traffic. Please note that to access the apartment by private vehicle you must have the corresponding authorisation from the municipal General Directorate of Traffic (DGT). Otherwise you will only be able to access the apartment on foot, or by public transport, taxi or VTC. Mit House is not responsible for any municipal fines in this regard

As a regular VRBO user I can say that in terms of the quality of the accommodations, this unit was one of the nicest that we have stayed in. It is clean, modern, and everything works well. The bedrooms are roomy and the top floor room has an ensuite bathroom and access to a nice rooftop patio. While the Justicia neighborhood is a busy shopping area, the unit is tucked away on quiet side street and noise was never a problem

This apartment is perfectly located in a laid-back, historical, and bohemian neighbourhood. Pretty much anywhere you would like to visit as a tourist is within a 45-minute walk through charming side streets and bustling boulevards. That said, the apartment is on the small side, and the second bedroom is up a narrow, twisty, and slippery stairway. If you plan to spend most of your time outside of the apartment, these are minor setbacks.

The apartment was very comfortable and functional. The second bedroom was on a top floor with narrow stairs. This could be an issue for a person with mobility issues. great location.
