The Space:
Discover the beauty of Northern Michigan at Camp Birch - a stunning lakeside cottage that features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for accommodating up to eight guests in comfort and style. Nestled within the scenic Leelanau Wine Trail, our cottage is ideally situated, with must see destinations minutes
away.
Upon entering the cottage, you'll immediately notice the rustic charm of the wooden walls, combined with modern amenities that make for the perfect vacation getaway. The living room features a cozy wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating, perfect for snuggling up and watching a movie on the Apple TV after a day of swimming in the lake. Our newly renovated interior provides all the modern amenities while still maintaining its adorable charm.
Camp Birch provides private lake access with a dock for swimming and relaxing, as well as 2 paddle boards & 1 kayak available for guests to use. The grassy yard is perfect for playing lawn games or just relaxing and enjoying the stunning views of the lake. For those looking to enjoy the lake, we provide a lily pad float to enjoy & relax on! Enjoy our outdoor shower after yoga in the backyard; we provide two yoga mats on site!
The cottage also features a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for whipping up delicious meals to enjoy with friends and family. Brand new appliances installed in 2023! In the evening, enjoy a barbecue on the patio while taking in the breathtaking scenery. At the end of the day, retreat to one of our three cozy bedrooms, each with luxury bedding and ample space to relax. The cottage's two bathrooms make getting ready in the morning a breeze.
Families can travel with ease knowing we provide a pack 'n play on site & life jackets for kids and adults!

drive away, and is known for its quaint charm and beautiful beaches. And for those looking for a bit more “city excitement,” downtown Traverse City is just a 20-minute drive away, and offers endless opportunities for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Throughout the area, you'll find a wide variety of wineries, breweries, and family-friendly activities to enjoy. Take a scenic drive along the Leelanau Wine Trail, sampling local wines and taking in the stunning views of the countryside. Or, head to one of the many nearby trails for a day of exploring and fun. The properties beautifully placed on the lake. They have kayaks and boards to use anytime is hammock next to it and many chairs to sit around the fire pit. It's very nicely made.

Amazing property, perfect location and a lovely, comfortable house. Had everything we needed (for all ages) and more. Loved the sunsets, kayaks and paddle boards and outdoor shower. So many places to go and things to do within 20 min drive. Hope to come back next year!

The views of the lake and the fall color were picture perfect. After kayaking at sunrise, the outdoor shower was a perfect mix of luxury and practicality. The location made it easy to access local attractions including Traverse City, Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes and any number of nearby orchards and vineyards.
