The "Lake House" was an ideal location for a getaway with family and friends. The property itself is situated in such a way as to encourage group activities in both the house and yard while providing enough space to be alone. The bedroom and bath arrangements add to the ease and comfort of having different groups of family/friends at various times during the week. Our favorite spots were the pier, the fire pit and the alcove under the stairs. The hosts provide everything needed for a stress free stay...just bring your water toys as the beach area is huge. Jim is like having a personal concierge...invisible until you have a question. Everyone who joined us is looking at their 2026 calendars to try and do this again. We highly recommend the hosts and property.

The communication with the property manager was on point and Marie was readily available to answer any questions that came up.
The house stays true to an up north cottage experience; the cleanliness of the house was good, however the decor and furniture are outdated. The kitchen however had all necessary amenities (and more!) and the bathrooms were updated and nice.
There is a gentleman that is a part owner who lives on the property above the garage. Although very welcoming and helpful, it would have been preferred for that to be disclosed prior to booking. The only other disappointment is that although there is a boat dock, each renter is not permitted to tie the boat to the dock, but instead wade to a nearby mooring ball for overnight docking. I had two young kids which definitely made this a challenge to coordinate and again, it should have been disclosed prior to booking or even in conversations prior to booking a boat rental.
Overall, the house is a great up north get-away and the amenities within the house were generous.
